Location: 7 Sisters is located conveniently near the Novotel Convention Centre in HITEC City. It’s easy to spot and accessible, especially if you’re around the business hub.

⸻

Ambience & Seating:

This is not a fine-dine place, so don’t go in expecting plush interiors or fancy plating. The decor features typical North Eastern and Tibetan ornaments—fairly cliché, but it does the job. The seating is comfortable enough for a casual meal, and the air-conditioning works well, which is important in Hyderabad’s heat. Overall, the ambience is simple but functional. Nothing to complain about.

⸻

Service:

The staff is generally friendly and responsive. While a couple of them may appear a little stern or expressionless, they are efficient and do their job well. During our visit for lunch last month, there was no wait time, and service was smooth and quick.

⸻

Food:

The food was the highlight of our visit. While it might not be a “mind-blowing” culinary experience, it was consistently very good across most dishes. • Thukpa Soup: Fantastic in flavour and extremely spicy. If you enjoy bold, fiery soups, this one hits the mark. • Honey Chilli Lotus Stem: One of the best dishes of the meal. Perfectly crisp, tangy, and sweet. Highly recommended. • Sushi: Surprisingly good for a place that isn’t a specialized sushi restaurant. The fish tasted fresh, though the wasabi could’ve had more punch. • Dim Sums: The only letdown of the meal. They turned out dry and bland. In hindsight, the classic momos might have been a better choice.

⸻

Pricing:

The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. It offers great value for money without compromising on taste.

⸻

Overall Verdict:

7 Sisters is a solid spot for a casual lunch or dinner if you’re in or around HITEC City. It’s not fancy, but it delivers where it matters—flavourful food, fair prices, and quick service. Skip the dim sums, but don’t miss the Thukpa...

I am writing to express my disappointment with the overall quality of food and service experienced during my recent visit.

The steamed chicken momos were served within three minutes of placing the order, which immediately raised concerns. They arrived without any trace of steam, moisture, or aroma—clearly indicating that they were neither freshly prepared nor properly cooked. Moreover, the filling contained an overwhelming amount of cabbage with barely any chicken. When questioned, the staff merely stated, “This is how we make it,” which reflects a lack of accountability and understanding of quality standards.

Following that, the garlic prawns were served cold and appeared to have been taken straight out of the deep freezer. To add to the disappointment, the chicken noodles were completely dry, and the hot garlic chicken tasted like it was made using plain tomato sauce rather than a balanced hot garlic base.

For clarity — authentic hot garlic sauce should carry a distinct combination of bold garlic flavor, balanced chili heat, a mild tang of vinegar, and a hint of sweetness. What was served failed to meet even basic expectations of this dish.

It is quite disheartening to note that the staff seemed confident about serving such food, with no understanding of the difference between freshly prepared and reheated or pre-frozen dishes. In today’s time, customers are well aware of what they are eating, and passing off substandard food as acceptable is simply not excusable.

I sincerely urge your management to review kitchen practices, food preparation timelines, and quality control processes. The experience reflects poorly on your establishment’s reputation and should be addressed immediately to ensure that no other customer faces a similar...

7 sisters is really an authentic Pan-Asian Cuisine restaurant. Usually bustling with huge crowds and high waiting time (because, it's the real deal and hence people wait in line to taste the authentic flavour), the place will definitely do justification for any Asian lovers. Their menu includes, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Chinese, Tibetan, Himalayan and North-East Indian options. I have been to this place 3 times but I could not get a reservation, so had to turn back. Luckily I got a table today to my surprise. Being a vegetarian, I respect the flavours offered in this place. Ambience aside, people come here only for the food. There is outdoor and indoor seating. It's highly recommended that we visit the place on a bike as parking is a huge headache in the area. Over to the Food, I have ordered: Yasai Tempura Uramaki in Sushi and Chowmin from Himalayan menu. The Uramaki was spot on. 5/5 for flavour 4/5 for price and quantity. Chowmin - it's the best chowmin I had in my life. I am not a really big fan of Chowmin but the chowmin here has stolen my heart. Flavour wise I give 4/5 as it could be a bit more spicy and dry rather than being sweet and a little oily. 5/5 for price and quantity provided. I am used to order on Swiggy from this place. Broccoli Sesame Fried rice, Burnt Garlic fried rice, Malaysian Curry and rice. Their food is really a delicacy to me. It's the kind of feeling where you sit with couple of friends, have sake and eat good quality food. But having to eat in that restaurant is really a beautiful feeling. Thank you so much for the food (Tabemono arigatho).. Hail 7 Sisters...

My long-awaited visit to 7 Sisters was nothing short of spectacular! The anticipation was well rewarded with a dining experience that exceeded expectations. Our culinary journey began with an order of the Korean Style Fried Chicken Bao Bun, a delightful combination of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. The crispy yet tender chicken, paired with the softness of the bao bun, created a mouthwatering delight. Next on our gastronomic adventure was the Momo soup, a comforting and savory bowl that instantly transported us to a world of rich and aromatic flavors. The momos were perfectly cooked and the broth was both soothing and flavorful, making it a standout dish that I would highly recommend. To complete our feast, we indulged in the tantanmen ramen noodles. This dish was a true testament to the culinary expertise at 7 Sisters. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the tantanmen broth was a symphony of spicy and savory notes that danced on the palate. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff was attentive and friendly, enhancing the dining experience with their warm hospitality. In conclusion, my visit to 7 Sisters was well worth the wait. If you're a fan of bold and delicious flavors, coupled with a welcoming environment and attentive service, I wholeheartedly recommend trying the Korean Style Fried Chicken Bao Bun, Momo soup, and tantanmen ramen noodles. It's an experience that lingers in the memory and leaves you eagerly anticipating your next visit.

~~7 Sisters & Axone, Hitex Road~~ I have never been to 7 Sisters restaurant before, though it was on my wishlist for long. In February, wife visited this place and was going ga-ga over their Khao Shuye. So, yesterday we made a sudden plan to visit this place. Reached the place at 7:45, and the upper seating area was full by that time. Wife informed that even on weekdays, this place sees a heavy rush*. We were escorted to the basement area, which is named as "Axone"**, and were seated promptly.*** We thought of trying their Cheese Phaley (which is Cheese filled deep-fried flattened Momo), but were informed that it would take at least 30 minutes to get ready. So ordered King Chilli Prawns and Chicken Khao Shuye. Chilli Prawns were good, and Khao Shuye was damn good. The presentation of the Khao Suye was unique (see the video). Overall, a place I would recommend highly for people who love Pan-Asian cuisine. The bill for these two dishes, along with couple of mocktails, was 1100+ (after 30% discount through Zomato Gold). ________________ * True to this, when we finished our dinner and came out, both the places (upper sitting area and basement) ** Axone (pronounced as Akhuni) is a cooking technique in the North-eastern region. The dishes are named as Pork Akhuni, Chicken Akhuni etc. *** The staff informed that Axone is a sister concern of 7 sisters. Well, to us, they seemed the same as the menu cards were same, they shared service staff, and also honoured our Zomato Gold deal booked for 7 sisters.
