Location: 7 Sisters is located conveniently near the Novotel Convention Centre in HITEC City. It’s easy to spot and accessible, especially if you’re around the business hub.
⸻
Ambience & Seating:
This is not a fine-dine place, so don’t go in expecting plush interiors or fancy plating. The decor features typical North Eastern and Tibetan ornaments—fairly cliché, but it does the job. The seating is comfortable enough for a casual meal, and the air-conditioning works well, which is important in Hyderabad’s heat. Overall, the ambience is simple but functional. Nothing to complain about.
⸻
Service:
The staff is generally friendly and responsive. While a couple of them may appear a little stern or expressionless, they are efficient and do their job well. During our visit for lunch last month, there was no wait time, and service was smooth and quick.
⸻
Food:
The food was the highlight of our visit. While it might not be a “mind-blowing” culinary experience, it was consistently very good across most dishes. • Thukpa Soup: Fantastic in flavour and extremely spicy. If you enjoy bold, fiery soups, this one hits the mark. • Honey Chilli Lotus Stem: One of the best dishes of the meal. Perfectly crisp, tangy, and sweet. Highly recommended. • Sushi: Surprisingly good for a place that isn’t a specialized sushi restaurant. The fish tasted fresh, though the wasabi could’ve had more punch. • Dim Sums: The only letdown of the meal. They turned out dry and bland. In hindsight, the classic momos might have been a better choice.
⸻
Pricing:
The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. It offers great value for money without compromising on taste.
⸻
Overall Verdict:
7 Sisters is a solid spot for a casual lunch or dinner if you’re in or around HITEC City. It’s not fancy, but it delivers where it matters—flavourful food, fair prices, and quick service. Skip the dim sums, but don’t miss the Thukpa...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the overall quality of food and service experienced during my recent visit.
The steamed chicken momos were served within three minutes of placing the order, which immediately raised concerns. They arrived without any trace of steam, moisture, or aroma—clearly indicating that they were neither freshly prepared nor properly cooked. Moreover, the filling contained an overwhelming amount of cabbage with barely any chicken. When questioned, the staff merely stated, “This is how we make it,” which reflects a lack of accountability and understanding of quality standards.
Following that, the garlic prawns were served cold and appeared to have been taken straight out of the deep freezer. To add to the disappointment, the chicken noodles were completely dry, and the hot garlic chicken tasted like it was made using plain tomato sauce rather than a balanced hot garlic base.
For clarity — authentic hot garlic sauce should carry a distinct combination of bold garlic flavor, balanced chili heat, a mild tang of vinegar, and a hint of sweetness. What was served failed to meet even basic expectations of this dish.
It is quite disheartening to note that the staff seemed confident about serving such food, with no understanding of the difference between freshly prepared and reheated or pre-frozen dishes. In today’s time, customers are well aware of what they are eating, and passing off substandard food as acceptable is simply not excusable.
I sincerely urge your management to review kitchen practices, food preparation timelines, and quality control processes. The experience reflects poorly on your establishment’s reputation and should be addressed immediately to ensure that no other customer faces a similar...
