Conversation Cafe — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

Due to hunger and time limitations, my group decided to bite the bullet and ignore the reviews we saw. This was a mistake. We were off to a good start with the fried chicken and one of the Currys coming after 20 mins wait. But this left the rest of our group in envy as the salads took another half hour to arrive with half their ingredients missing and 2 meals never turned up. We checked with the waiter after an hour wait and he said they were coming soon. Fifteen minutes later we find out they had never made one of them and the other hand been taken off the menu. At this point were hungry, tired and very frustrated so ask for the bill so we could leave and get food from somewhere else. They tried to charge us for the missing meals and when we paid for the rest, they bared us from leaving until we paid for the rest and for service charge. Would...

Genuinely, that may just be the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. It started with us being told that bread would not be available as they weren't opening the tandoor. The ceiling had a leak directly over the seats dripping constantly throughout the meal. In the food department we ordered a curry that never showed up (after an hour wait), a watermelon salad that after the hour wait we were told they actually didn't have in stock. Finally the meal that did show up, a pasta salad arrived without pasta in it (I mean come on). When we went to settle up, the manager and whole staff argued that we must pay the full amount, even bringing the chef out to discuss the decision to serve pasta(less) salad. They're are so many amazing, delicious eateries in Jaipur. Save yourself and go to one because...

Absolutely awful. Manager is rude. Pasta salad had no pasta in it and they still tried to charge full price - full on arguing in our faces to make us pay and even bringing out the chef. Everyone waited one hour for food that did not come and then told us that one of the meals was not available. The ceiling dripped water on us the whole time. The bills were all wrong.
