The flawless, seamless and quick-footed service delivery by Senior Service Associate Bhal Singh has been the highlight of my dinner. He is the face of this renowned eatery in Jaipur is one thing, Bhal Singh is extremely adaptable like water while serving the guests. My full marks to Bhal Singh. He is affectionate, loyal, sensitive and spontaneous.
It is gratifying to note that the flooring has been changed - earlier it was wooden, now it is marble tiles. Looks more picturesque. The new lights effects were appealing. I really liked the shadow lighting technique that splashes psychedelic designs on the walls especially during the dinner period.
I am deeply indebted to the tastes makers - Chef Robin Negi and Chef Balwant they served lipsmackingly tasty Indian food in no time, as I was in a hurry and wanted to have a quick dinner. They were very flexible too. Chef Robin served Pumpkin Soup to me as per my request. With an amazing twist-, Green Chilly Paste and Cumin Seeds did the trick. Refreshing Soup, followed by Kebabs and Main Course. Memorable, simple dinner.
I sampled everything in micro portions. That said, live music was simply superb. My appreciation to Singer Dilbar Hussain and Tabla Player Vivek Rao, as they created special moments for all the guests. Mellifluous music...it was very difficult while leaving. I liked the Gawwali and Ghazal numbers belted out by Dilbar Hussain. May Allah bless him in abundance. I am so pleased and delighted.
Restaurant Manager Varun Ganda (well behaved with calm and clarity) and Service Executive Ajay (nurturing caretaker) were literally on their toes serving the guests by offering their full attention.
I liked the way two Lambretta Scooters displayed near the entrance. Remember: these are Scooters of the 1970’s.
This eatery entices the guests with its flavours. Superlative taste. Vibrant decor. Excellent staff with inherent warmth. Yet another unforgettable gourmet experience. I was so fascinated by their incredible and inimitable guest connect. Effortless and with consummate ease.
Absolutely fabulous experience. The guest in me was on a high. Signed...
Read moreOn my last visit to Jaipur we decided to dine at this Indian restaurant at Marriott. Saffron is a nicely done up place which has a rustic ambiance and a little too dark as per my personal taste. The Live singing is a highlight and makes the atmosphere more lively and great. Service is great and you can also order specialty cocktails from the Rivayat2Menu.
They have a PDR for a large group wants to dine together. We were suggested by the Chef to try their Lost Recipe promotional menu called Rivayat and we went ahead with same.
The selection of kebabs both veg and non veg was nice. We tried the Lal Kot ke Dahi Kebab, Mutton Raan and Veg seekh kebab which was nice. Tawa Meen Chettinad and the Tandoori Chicken was amazing and had a unique taste to it.
For the mains we tried the Stuffed Laute Palaute which is a nice vegetarian dish made of besan Roti which is stuffed with dry fruits and veggies in a spicy curry. The Mutton nihari was also nice with the khameeri Roti.
Though their are many other dishes both in Veg as well as non veg like the Choke ki Dal and the Sula ka Murg but for me the nihari was the highlight, though it wasn't as perfect as it should be still it had almost all the flavors in it.
The restaurant was bustling with people from the hotel as well as outside. SAFFRON is quite a popular place for locals as it serves one of the best Indian...

we had invited some important people over for dinner on 13th Dec 2023, at Saffron Marriott, jaipur. Mr. Mahipal ( manager) had assisted us for arrangements and menu was predecided with Mr. Mahipal in the afternoon , and he assured us that the food will be served properly. Yet it was the worst ever dining experience for me. Everyone expects atleast the food to be served on time, if not tasty food. We were really let down by Mr. Mahipal that day and did nt know what to say infront of our guests. It actually spoiled my whole ocassion. The food served had zero taste . There were barely any trained servers in the entire restaurant . The gap between starters and main course was extremely long and then when the food finally arrived ,it was nt edible at all. Runny gravies water like with no flavour. The Malai kofta was literally water with one piece of kofta. This was nt the first time I was dining at saffron, have had better food and service. I was highly disappointed and will have to cross Marriott from my list of dining spaces forever . Also the saddest part is that they could not deliver after so many instructions given in the afternoon as well as...
