I recently dined at Silk Route in Jaipur and it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend. The restaurant offers a sophisticated and elegant ambiance, perfect for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings.
The decor is tastefully done, reflecting a blend of traditional Rajasthani and contemporary styles. The seating is comfortable and well-arranged, providing a sense of privacy and comfort. The beautiful lighting and decor elements create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Silk Route's menu is a delightful fusion of Indian and international cuisines, with a strong emphasis on Rajasthani flavors. I started with the Laal Maas, a traditional Rajasthani dish that was perfectly spiced and tender. For the main course, I chose the Silk Route Special Thali, which offered a variety of dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors. The presentation was exquisite and the portion sizes were generous.
One of the standout features of Silk Route is their commitment to using high-quality, fresh ingredients. Each dish was prepared with great attention to detail, resulting in a harmonious blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. The variety of dishes on the menu caters to different palates, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience.
The only minor downside was that the restaurant was quite busy during our visit, leading to a bit of a wait for our food. However, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience more than made up for this slight inconvenience.
Overall, Silk Route in Jaipur is a fantastic dining destination. The exquisite blend of Indian and international flavors, the exceptional service, and the inviting ambiance make it a must-visit. Whether you're looking to explore traditional Rajasthani cuisine or enjoy a fusion of flavors, this restaurant offers a culinary experience that is both unique and memorable. I highly recommend it and look forward to...
Read moreAs we entered the ambience was quite nice. However the staff behaviour was pathetic. The manger was literally frowning on asking about anything. The server was neither any good. I had specific food allegies. They straight away declined to even call the chef for it. We asked to wait, if the chef was busy - however to that Manager Mr. Deepak started shouting on us that our chef cannot meet anyone everyone walking in the restaurant. It was very very rude. When i asked his name, he sternly said if you want to eat here, then eat or you may leave please. I immidiately got up to leave and then he started blabbering thing in his mouth which i could easily make out were not nice thing to say to a lady. My husband was trying to calm him down. To which he reacted that i will never let people like you enter this restaurant ever. Then when we left and started walking towards our car, he stood there outside restaurant grinning after disrespecting us and abusing us. I request restaurant Owners to kindly take strict actions againt Manager Mr. Deepak and Serving staff Mr. Kishan. As people do remeber the place by its ambience amd food - but customer service is...
Read moreOur evening began in Silk Route, a multi-cuisine restaurant with thin hanging chandeliers and a beautiful ambiance. We enjoyed Avocado and Mango Sushi, Crunchy Cottage Cheese Bao, Truffled Mushroom Dumplings, and Basil Rice. Sushi was given in two varieties wrapped with sushi rice: packed with Avocado and Mango salsa, which was a delectable option. The truffled mushroom dumplings were incredibly delicate and steamed to perfection, stuffed with Mushrooms and tossed with Truffle oil, which was a chef's kiss. The crunchy cottage cheese bao was a very soft steamed bun, packed with cottage cheese that had been marinated and fried, and it lay between the buns with a combination of chili bean sauce and togarashi mayo, The basil rice was rice steamed and tossed with Thai chili sauce and fresh veggies with flavourfull basil. We also tried delecious combination of Udon noodles and Mapo Tofu,The Stewart was very polite and helpful in...
