The absolute worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. Imagine having to ask for your parts of your order 5 times over 1 hour because they keep forgetting about it. When I asked for iced water over 6 times, by the end of the meal, they still hadn't given it to me. Check other reviews, and you'll see similar experiences with bad service.
Sadly, even their food is just mediocre. Their coffee just tasted like lukewarm water. Butter chicken and biriyani is below average. Mango lassi was warm and we had to ask for them to put ice in ourselves. Worst place ever. Don't come here, and check out that pizza place around the corner instead.
Sad part is, they resorted to lying as well. At the end of my meal, when I asked why they never brought the ice water, they first claimed it was because they were busy. But when I looked around, only about half the restaurant tables were filled. Then they changed their mind and said it was because their "machine" wasn't working. That wasn't true either, because my brother had just gotten ice for his mango lassi earlier, so where did that ice come from?
It's just ice water, but it's a problem when I keep waiting for it because they said they would bring it, but they never did. If they told me they couldnt bring it, that's fine. But to keep me waiting for water and never giving it is not. Of course, this happened with the main course items as well, but at least those were eventually brought out with enough persistent asking.
When food is bad, it's just food. But when the service is bad and people resort to lies as excuses instead of admitting what happened and trying to be better, it reflects on...
Read moreWorst service , pathetic experience and the staff is completely ignorant .
I visited their T2 terminal outlet while catching my midnight flight and thought to have good vegetarian food considering them a good brand hence I ordered veg biryani from there and they served me Chicken Biriyani and while cross checking this with one of the staff members Ms Roshini , she said yes it is veg but still would go and cross check with chef . The chef Mr Gulaab once confirmed from inside the kitchen that it is veg but still being a pure vegetarian person I still couldn’t believe that’s it was a veg Biriyani so I again called one of the staff and told the same thing then chef came out accepting the mistake that due to some confusion they served chicken Biriyani and now can replace . Till the time we had tasted one spoon of Biriyani. How insensitive their staff was , how they can be so careless about such sensitive incidents then what is the point of segregation of veg/non veg items in the menu if you can’t handle two different requirements.
My entire family is very disappointed about their behaviour and attention to the addressed issue… this is how you run your business , don’t know how many times you have unknowingly done such silly mistakes with other customers too.
For some people, this issue might not be that big but for those who are very specific to the vegetarian food MUST think twice before visiting them.
. It’s not about how popular your brand is in the market , how fast you serve the food , how fancy outlet you have , it’s about how well you listen to or pay attention to the customer’s requirements...
Read moreI was walking towards another restaurant at Terminal 2, when my complete attention was captured by a beautiful wall of painted pots. I stopped to look and there were so many other beautiful pieces of art around in this restaurant. I saw the sign, and it was Bombay Brasserie. I remember visiting some years ago in Indiranagar, and had a really wonderful experience then. So I walked in.
I came for the art. I stayed for the menu. And I left really happy by the food and drink. It was late at night. I had the Old Dolli Tikka Paratha. It was fantastic! I also had the Nagpur Santra and it was quite nice.
I had some feedback, and wanted to fill a feedback form, but was asked to leave a review instead.
Here is my feedback: PLEASE fix the height of the chairs at the bar! I quite often prefer to sit at the bar (faster service, get to converse with the staff, get a deeper feel for the restaurant and neighborhood, etc.). As soon as I sat at the bar, I realized the chair was too low / bar surface was too high. I am 5’7”, which is the most average height in the world. I really tried to make it work. After I got my food, I really really tried, but I just could not eat my roll at such a height! And had to move to a table ☹️. Please look into it, and fix it. Bombay Brasserie at Terminal 2 has such an awesome vibe already. The bar chair height is the only negative.
The next time I come back to BLR (a few months from now), I hope to sit at the bar and enjoy really good food, and converse with Alan! I will give a 5 star...
