The Irish House — Restaurant in Karnataka

The place is called "The Irish House" but that's all that's Irish about it. I live in Dublin and have lived in Ireland for over the last half decade, so I'd like to think I can recognize an authentic Irish pub when I see one - this is nowhere close.

First, let's talk about what looks Irish here. The name, yes. The decor, maybe. They've thrown in some cool artwork on the wall that could lead you to believe it's an Irish pub. But that's where it ends. I don't see Guinness on the menu, I don't see an Irish coffee on the menu, I don't see anything that anybody who's Irish would consider Irish on the menu except maybe Jameson whiskey. It baffles me that they couldn't throw in an Irish coffee on their menu, it's one of the simplest things you can make and doesn't need any Irish-specific ingredients either.

Second, out of 14 cocktails on the menu they were able to serve just 3 of them. Best (worst) part - the 3 that they did serve are in no way Irish drinks. So what am I really here for? Why can't I just go to any other random pub and order a cosmo for half the price?

Don't bother coming here for an Irish experience. It's just another Indian pub with overpriced drinks and fancy decor. Pictures and...
