Hotel Naivedya — Restaurant in Karnataka

I went to this hotel 4 years ago along with my family. In fact, that was my first visit. I was told by one of my relatives that they serve banana leaf lunch. We ordered gobi munchurin for a side dish. It smelled so bad; not able to have it. We immediately called the supplier and escalated about it. He also acknowledged. He said " it is already billed, the owner will yell yet us". However, he suggested us to inform the same in the cash counter. Believe it or not, the person sitting at the cash counter was very arrogant. He never allowed us to talk; ignored us, and took the full amount.

Okay, money is gone.. I requested that don't serve this type of food to other customers.. He again, behaved as if he don't care.. He never saw my face at all... Heights of arrogance.. From then, we never visit this hotel and will not recommend...

Delicious food, good service and reasonable price. Plenty of food options were available in the menu. We were a group of 6 people, tried many food options and loved the taste for everything we ordered (paneer curry, chole bhature, North meals, South meals, dosa options, tawa pulav and lots more).. We stayed in Udupi for 3 days and had almost all our meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) here in those 3 days. If you're visiting nearby then definately a must try place. Hotel Naivedya offers a decent dining experience with a variety of South and North Indian dishes, and their Gadbad ice cream was okay but not outstanding. However, I found the place lacking in maintenance, with noticeable wear and tear on the interiors. Cleanliness was also an issue; the tables and seating areas didn’t seem to be well-kept, especially during busier hours. Additionally, the prices felt slightly high for the quality and ambiance provided. Overall, it’s an average spot for a quick meal, but there’s room for improvement to enhance the customer experience.
