GOOD FOOD AND PATHETIC SERVICE.!!

Visited KEDIYOOR GAZEBO for lunch after a quick visit to Udupi temple. A couple of months ago we tried their vegetarian section for breakfast and it was really commendable. With that good memories in mind this time we entered the non veg section GAZEBO. No need for waiting time, the ambience was superb and the seating was super good. They have a bar counter attached to the dining area. We ordered chicken noodles and chicken Schezwan fried rice as main course. Took about 10 minutes and it was absolutely fine considering its noodles and fried rice. Food was good, LITTLE OVER PRICED but quantity was decent considering the rate btw both of them cost 299+gst per serving.

Now comes the worst part, we get a bottle of mineral water with 20 rs as mrp printed on it. When the bill came it marked 30 rs for the water bottle and on top of that they charged 5% gst which means they are charging 31.5 rs for a bottle of water with 20 mrp. I immediately asked the waiter about this and he said it's not a mistake. He was not giving any proper reply for this and acts like it's a normal thing. After a minute of talk he passed this problem to another person who is there with a different uniform than others. I think he will be the floor manager or floor in charge. His reply shocked me, this is an ac restaurant, you had food on ac, we don't sell anything here in mrp, you can pay and go, its common here. His attitude towards a customer is one of the worst i have ever faced. That much rude,

VERIDICT : AVOID IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. IF YOU ASK THEM ABOUT ANYTHING THEY WILL START TO TELL WE GAVE YOU FOOD WE GAVE YOU AC WE GAVE YOU COOL WATER THEN HOW CAN WE SELL IT FOR MRP..

NO COMPLAINTS ON FOOD, JUST THEIR ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER AND CHARGING EVEN MINERAL WATER LIKE THIS NEED...

Very worst service now a days ..From a past 12 years I used visit here monthly once or twice service and food was excellent but last Independence Day we have visited at 3.15 pm I was shocked they treated us like why you have come after 3 pm to give us extra work… no proper response of the supervisor and no waiter at all to table no 8 the supervisor admitted that atleast.See your management have put till 4pm it will be working but staffs are getting ready to close it at 3pm only it’s not customers mistake to enter in your hotel ..to the management am saying your staffs are ruining your hotel they have become old can’t work properly now and working from many years I know them but you have to replace your staffs to treat the customers well… I have seen many people from other tables are requesting these waiters for food from long time is this the way to treat ??? Once you visit your restaurant after 3 and see live how they are rushing to wind up pushing the customers out As a doctor it was my favourite choice whenever I come to udupi but unfortunately they didn’t give a glass of water also last week I have requested so many time and given last ..even the kitchen staffs are angry on us very salty food they have given soup was given at last after main course OMG I have given 1300 for this stupidity and irresponsibility and ran from there And I decided that should be my last visit to kediyoor gazebo …even my family or friends too So customers beware if you go after 3 they will treat as you are going to have free...

I had always been visiting this place from a decade and this was always my to go place for fine dining whenever I am in Udupi. But not anymore! I was totally disappointed with my recent visit to them with my family. First of all all waiters and thier supervisors were busy watching TV and chatting with each other. It looked more of thier own club where they are not much bothered about the customers. Secondly, the waiter who served us was very unprofessional and old man without any manners ( felt like we were in some roadside daba, waiter has 0 grooming class) who was treating us like we have visited the wedding without a invite. Terrible experience this time. We ordered Chicken lollypop which was totally over fried and no taste at all. We were wondering what's wrong with the place which used to be a special and top class service once upon a time. Few years back I had also noticed some fresh graduates from BHM students I think who were very professional and treating the customers really well. But having the old guys is not an issue but at least proper training must be given to them and specially at least look at thier minimum grooming requirements and teach them how to speak with customers.. Super expensive for its ambience and such third class treatment by its waiters and supervisors who are primarily focused to watch TV and some old cricket match which is being played there always ( this TV wall mounted at a corner which looks exclusively for waiters and supervisors and not...
