We happened to get stuck in Mysuru due to rain. We had to stay for couple of more days. We all decided to save up on stay and food and find an affordable place. This hotel is very near to Mysore palace, city bus stand, art gallery and main shopping street Devaraja URS road. We were surprised to see one big room with 3 large size beds, 2 toilets and baths, ac, good quality linen and enough space for luggage. 8 of us could comfortably stay and that too for just 3600 rs per night. Breakfast was not included in this. We tried their authentic bisibele Baath, idli and podi ghee dosa. It was awesome. Although the ambiance of the dining area wasn't great, but if the food is good nothing else matters. One afternoon it started pouring heavily and we couldn't go out for siteseeing. We asked for options they have for lunch and supper. Surprisingly in this 2 star economy hotel, they have an elaborated menu. Excellent hand tossed pizza, realy tasty Mushroom Bruchhetta, good Indian style Chinese food and my personal favorite was their dhaba style chicken kebab masala with puffed up fulkas. Sometimes greater pleasure comes your way when you expect the least one. This 2 day stay at this very old hotel was indeed a...
Read moreStay was more than comfortable. It is secluded from the busy streets of the city. Feels homelike. Couldn't ask for more since we were on tight budget. They are more customer friendly rather than money hungry management. Could easily provide more stars if possible. The manager of the hotel who is a elder person with spectacles along with a young guy in the evng, Everybody makes sure you have a great experience and go back with a happy face. The kitchen team too was awesome with every requests. Parking too is available for all kinds of private vehicles. You can easily ask thier help for information about the city if you are a tourist and have no idea about the places to visit. Overall had a great experience and would surely book the same hotel whenever we would step in the...
Read moreVery basic budget hotel. Friendly staff, good food. The only main issue we faced was that the AC was not working even after multiple complaints they couldn't fix it. It kept going off within few minutes. But as the weather was good we didn't feel much difficulty and don't wanted to spoil the mood worrying about it. Location wise this is actually a old residential area so reaching was little difficult through narrow roads. So we parked our car in the hotel and used Uber auto as all main attractions in Mysore were within 2-3kms from this place. Mysore palace is just little above 1km. You can even walk to palace but we didnt want to waste time so took Uber auto which usually will be at the door steps within a minute. Make sure you pay cash else Uber auto guys will...
