B For Biriyani — Restaurant in Kerala

I came here for the Biriyani after reading a lot of reviews and watching reels. It was extremely, very delicious. The rice has a very tempting flavor, and the pieces are extremely soft and tender as well. It is also really satisfying quantity of pieces and biriyani. I'm a huge fan of there biryani, especially the beef biryani. They also serve pappad, vinegar-onion salad, and dates pickles in addition to biriyani. Customer service is also excellent. Although it's small store but well-kept. Biriyani will finish very soon there. So reach there before 1:30 pm or call and confirm them before reaching there. And the main issue there is not enough space for parking a four-wheeler, so parking a vehicle is a little difficult. However, parking a two-wheeler is OK. Located at Lobo Junction, next to Kayees Rahmatulla Cafe, Mattanchery. Parking is possible only on the roadside, but the area itself is crowded and small so parking might be hard. Seating area is small, around 7-8 tables only. Staff members are polite and organised. Open every day from 11:30am to 3pm, only chicken,mutton and beef biriyani is available here. Items most likely are finished by 2pm so be sure to go a bit early. While I have visited this place a few times, I came a bit late this time, so only beef biriyani was available. The quality of the beef was great and the rice was lightly flavoured with just the right amount of masala. Pricing also is very decent(only 120 rupees for a really good beef biriyani).

The biriyani was lit. The rice was perfectly cooked and of a premium sort. The chicken was literally falling off the bone. They had ran out of the mutton biryani by 1:00. Their other speciality dish "erachi choru' was also near to perfect. Not a mushy mass of rice and meat. Just the right texture. They serve it all with poppadums and pickled onions with a sweet and sour sauce. Then why the 3 stars - not 5 - hygenie. Seems to be non existant. The staff all were multitasking - all while having bare hands. The floor was dirty. The place desperately needs a new coat of paint and the wash basin area is least said filthy.
