Read moreToday, we had the pleasure of visiting Little Soi, a delightful establishment nestled on Cross Road 3 in Panampilly Nagar. Renowned for its eclectic Asian culinary repertoire, Little Soi specializes in Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian, and Korean dishes, with their Ramen Noodles being a standout specialty.
Although the pricing might initially appear steep, I found that ordering one or two dishes suffices for a delightful shared experience for two, making it a cost-effective culinary exploration compared to similar venues that compel more extensive orders.
The convenience of valet parking, facilitated by their courteous staff, is a thoughtful touch with three parking slots available directly in front of the restaurant. The team at Little Soi is commendable for their professionalism; special mentions to Ms. Nora from Nagaland for her exemplary service and menu recommendations, and to Mr. Bennet, the restaurant manager, whose hospitality was equally impressive.
Our gastronomic journey included the Pad Thai Chicken Noodles priced at ₹495, a delicious choice, though it was outdone by the Vietnamese Ginger Chicken, also priced at ₹495, which was an absolute delight. The meal was complemented by a refreshing Watermelon & Basil Mojito for ₹295, a perfect choice for a revitalizing beverage. Another delightful aspect of our visit to Little Soi was the complimentary offerings bookending our meal. As starters, we were served crispy frames at no extra charge, which added a crunchy and flavorful prelude to our dining experience. To conclude, the restaurant graciously provided ginger covered with sugar as a digestive mouth freshener, also complimentary. These thoughtful touches truly enhanced the dining experience, showcasing Little Soi's commitment to customer satisfaction. While the restaurant wasn't particularly bustling with activity—only two or three tables were occupied—the ambiance was calming and inviting. In essence, Little Soi stands out not only for its flavors but for an overall rewarding...
Read moreI actually had a very great experience here, better than I imagined. It is a nice and cozy place as it wasn't too overcrowded, at least the time I've been here. The tables are well spaced and above all the staff here are super friendly. The ordering process here is via phone by scanning a QR code that takes you to "Where's The Food " website to place order. Coming to the food I had the Miso Gochujong Chiken Ramen which superceded my expectations I absolutely loved it. I also had the Beef Shoyu Ramen too... but the beef was a bit tough so it was a bit of struggle to eat it (the fork nor the knife were any help). Then we had the Spicy Tuna sushi. Honestly we we scared that we won't like it but it turned out to be ok. For all the spicy guys out there --- Fair warning if you are ordering sushi, which accompanies with a wad of wasabi, don't eat it straight away you will regret it. Believe me I did... And by the way the pickled ginger is a good pallet cleanser for you next bite. This was followed by chicken satay and Korean Fried Chicken Bao which was great. The satay felt like eating grilled chicken which has been elevated fo the next level. It is served in skewers so easy to eat Also it is accompanied with a spicy sauce which gives it a very beautiful touch. The fried chicken bao was so good --- mainly because of the chicken which is out of the world... it's not the KFC fried chicken type but was an authentic karaage... Last but not the least we had the Little Soi Sphere which was an ice cream scoop enclosed is tempered chocolate Sphere which is surrounded by cookies and topped with chocolate sauce. I had a great expectations with this but sadly it dissatisfied me cuz the cookies was good day biscuit and oreo (i think) with some toasted cashews. It was not worth of 295Rs. The theater effect is definitely there but seeing good day biscuit instead of "cookies" what made me upset. Another thing to note is that they impose a service charge of 71.5 Rs extra but it was worth since the service was...
