Nuevo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Kerala

I ordered the Quinoa Salad after seeing a beautiful and well-presented dish on the Swiggy app. What I actually received was a sad bowl of plain quinoa tossed with a few tomatoes and lettuce leaves—nothing like the advertised image or description. If you’re going to show something on the menu, at least make an effort to deliver what’s promised.

To make things worse, when I called the restaurant to report the issue, the person who answered only spoke Hindi and didn’t understand Malayalam, making communication difficult and frustrating.

It didn’t stop there. The second item I ordered was Grilled Chicken & Spinach—again, based on the photo and name. Shockingly, I was given a pizza instead! I did not order a pizza, nor do I understand how such a glaring mistake could happen.

This entire experience was a total waste of money. If you can’t deliver what you advertise, it’s not just misleading—it’s unacceptable. Shame on the restaurant for such poor service and communication.

This isn't gonna be like my usual detailed reviews, but I just wanted to share my experience.

I don't remember much about what happened, but all i know is that i ordered two of their dishes (i thought i was ordering pizza but i got something more calzone like) online and started smoking some herbs. Man I was hungry af and these beauties just hit the spot. The cherry tomatoes with the fresh mozz was an absolute delight. I wasn't expecting much (cause of the price) but I was pleasantly surprised. Also ordered their burrata cheese dish and it was sooo good. Melt in your mouth with the perfect ratio of cheese and sauces. That said, I did feel like the base was pretty thick and wasn't properly baked well enough (or atleast to my liking), but that's just me. Their sun dried tomatoes was just perfect too.

Overall, solid place. This would definitely rank top in my food spots to hit after zaza. Oh yeah and the place looks...

Honestly, there's good and bad here! A hungry pack of 5, we went here for pizzas for dinner! The place is relatively small but cosy! However it can get cramped or won't be able to put many tables together if you go in as a huge group! So, we went for the grilled spinach and chicken, carnevale, mexicane and cheese garlic bread stuffed. Honestly, I loved the spinach and chicken pizza! It was awesome! The cheese garlic bread stuff with chicken was also great! However, the Mexicane and carnevale, they were a bit of a let down for me. The flavours were confusing and it could have been better! 😅 And in one of our pizzas, the black soot formed due to the fire inside oven, basically burnt, it was pretty bad. Overly burnt underneath! That was another major disappointment. Overall, it was an alright experience. Hoping to go again and will rewrite hoping things...
