I had a satisfying lunch at Manippuzha Vaisali, a restaurant that serves authentic Kerala cuisine. I ordered Kerala meals with duck roast, which was a feast for the senses. The meals consisted of a mini Kerala sadya, a traditional banquet of rice and various vegetarian dishes. It included avial, a poriyal, a dry vegetable stir-fry, two types of pickles, pineapple pachadi, a sweet and sour dish with pineapple and coconut, and pappadam. The meals also came with three types of gravy: sambar, kaalan, a thick yogurt and coconut curry, and pachamoru, a spiced buttermilk drink.

The duck roast was amazing. The duck was tender and succulent, with a crispy skin and a spicy masala. The dish had a rich and complex flavor, with hints of ginger, garlic, curry leaves, and pepper.

They also suggested some fish items, which looked tempting, but I did not order them because I was alone. Maybe next time I will try them.

The only downside of the restaurant was the seating and ambiance. The restaurant tables were too close to each other. The decor was simple and plain, and the lighting was dim. The restaurant did not have much of a personality or charm. Neatness in the kitchen is okay which is visible from ouside, but the hand wash area required more attention.

Overall, I had a good experience at Manippuzha Vaisali. The food was great, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place for anyone who loves Kerala food, fish items and shappu curries. I would rate this restaurant 3.5...

I visited this shop in a Sunday afternoon i was so hungry but i couldn't find any homely meal spot which left me desperate but at last i was directed to this spot after some enquires to the locals.
