CALICUT CAFÉ — Restaurant in Kerala

Well first of all I went to the cafe when I got in I went to the wash place which was open and near some dinning table then I washed my hands I got a seat that was under fish aquarium beneath so I sat there checked the menu waited for so much time I couldn't find a waiter because every on in there seems like a customer after some minutes a guy came to me and asked so I pointed out some food thats in the menu which shawai chicken Mandhi and a romali chicken roll for take way ( parcel) so it was fast they get my orders in a Seconds first when I look at the rice it feels like it is overcooked so I took a bite and my expectations was correct it was overcooked and the salad was kind of dried and not good condition seems like not fresh and tomato chutney feels like gone bad expired 🤮 and the mayonnaise feels like a plane sauce no taste at all I hope chicken will be nice but hopefully the quantity was not worth it chicken was too small for the price and first of all chicken was too spicy so ont Seconds I occurred the spices I ordered a shake which was only cold no taste gave me instant brain freeze and not worth for the price just small glass only need to upgrade the class I only like the shawai chicken taste only the romali roll will not get extra sauce at all well the bill was correct on time and it will be delivered to your hands by employees himself I saw the it was 400 rupees full , shawai chicken Mandhi was 220,sharja shake was 60,and romali chicken roll parcel was 120 well guys Customer service is not good at all only good in giving bill I don't recommend any food to order because it's not good Drinks are not worth the price and need to be upgrade the glass and quantity well if they improve the above things well I will recommend any I had not good experience with Calicut cafe hope they will take things seriously And the entertainment system was good they have tv and feel good music

I recently had the chance to try the BBQ mandhi from here,and it was a delightful experience. The mandhi was perfectly cooked, with tender pieces of meat that were infused with smoky flavors from the BBQ. Each bite was incredibly satisfying, and the spices used added just the right amount of warmth without being overwhelming.

I went to the newly opened Calicut Cafe near Thirunakkara Maidanam for my dinner. I had Shawai Chicken and Rumali Shawarma.

Talking about the food, the Shawai Chicken has to be one of the best Shawai I ever had in Kottayam. The chicken is very Juicy and tender, and it has so many flavours which is a joy to our mouth. The Rumali Shawarma was alright.

The Service was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and always tended to any of my needs.
