Pizza Hut | MG Road, Cochin — Restaurant in Kerala

I am writing to follow up on my previous complaint regarding the unacceptable hygiene practices I witnessed at your Ravipuram outlet on December 24th. I lodged a formal complaint, but I have yet to receive any response or acknowledgment from your team.

To recap, during my visit, I observed that the staff, including the manager and others preparing and handling food, were not wearing gloves while preparing and packing pizzas. This is a clear violation of basic food safety standards, and I am deeply concerned about the potential health risks associated with this practice. Despite raising the issue with the staff, I received no satisfactory explanation. Instead, I was told that gloves were not being used due to pending orders, which I found to be unacceptable, especially considering that there were no other customers at the time, aside from some delivery personnel.

What was even more troubling was that after I raised the issue regarding the preparation process, I continued to observe two staff members handling baked pizzas with their bare hands while cutting and packing them. Absolutely terrible experience at Pizza Hut, Ravipuram.

Visited with three friends today and it was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve ever had. First off, there was no air conditioning in the restaurant – yes, the AC unit is there, but they just don’t bother turning it on. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable, and when we asked about it, the staff simply smiled and shrugged it off like it was completely normal.

For the price they charge, the least you expect is basic comfort – but apparently that’s too much to ask.

To make matters worse, they don’t have a proper handwashing facility. There is only a single tap located inside the restroom, which is both unhygienic and completely unacceptable for a dining establishment. Expecting customers to wash their hands where people relieve themselves is absolutely appalling.

And don’t even get me started on the food – the taste was below average, nothing close to what you’d expect from a reputed brand like Pizza Hut.

I went to pizza hut on sunday at Ravipuram,approx at 4:15pm,it was no rush hour,we placed our order which took ages to come and we were searching for place to sit as all the tables were dirty and not cleaned inspite of just 1 customer apart from us was there whom they had to serve, but they still stood idle and did not clean it until we asked them to, and to do that itself they took quite a while.its not the first time, i have been there when the old staff were there and during that time it was well managed and no issue was there but since the staff changed its become a huge disappointment.Pizza we had was burnt and it was not made of fresh dough.also the glass in which they served was smelling really bad, but they just did not change it no matter what we said.i called for the manager but he did not want to come out, we had to wait for the manager to come out after calling for him a lot of times. i complained but no reaction was given by the store manager.Next day my entire family ended up with loose motion and vomitting.kindly...
