Golden dragon — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Golden Dragon Restaurant located on MG Road, Ravipuram. From the moment I entered, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is situated on the first floor of a building and offers parking for both two and four-wheelers. The seating is comfortable, albeit dimly lit, and the interiors are styled in a traditional Chinese theme.

The first dish I tried was the hot and sour chicken soup, and it was fantastic! The soup was spicy and flavorful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. Next, I tried the Dragon Chicken, which is one of their signature dishes, and it was delicious! The chicken was crispy and coated in a tangy and spicy sauce that left a delightful aftertaste.

For the main course, I ordered the American Chopsuey, which was saucy and flavorsome. The dish was a combination of crispy noodles, vegetables, and chicken, all served with a delicious sauce. Finally, I had the Golden Dragon special fried rice, which was the perfect accompaniment to the main course. The rice was fluffy and seasoned to perfection, and the dish had a lovely aroma that was irresistible.

Overall, my experience at Golden Dragon Restaurant was fantastic. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The restaurant is perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Chinese...

The new Golden Dragon location is a mockery to the legendary golden dragon at Mercy Estate. Located just 200 m away, the new location has an interior design that looks horrible and does not give out the golden dragon vibes that other locations and especially the mercy estate one does. Coming to the food and service, we ordered egg noodles specifically for our child and they brough egg chicken noodles. We initially ordred spring rolls, to be told that it cannot be made when only 3 other tables were there. The server then came back to tell us that the spring rolls can be made. but please do not order these spring rolls, they were beyond terrible. Then to the actual food, the honey sesame pork was still excellent, but the fried rice, brocolli in garlic sauce and oyster chicken were all terrible. If i tried making the same thing at home , it would taste exactly like this and i am a terrible cook. A complete waste of time and money and we could not wait to get out of there.

And to the cashier who has a ringtone of a landline phone who has a ring volume set on 200, please change the ringtone or at least pick up the call. Instead of making the whole restaurant listen to your overly loud ringtone for 30 seconds...

Good place to enjoy Chinese etc. It was an excellent place for a dine out with friends or family. One major attraction is located ideally in the city with lots of free car parking space, they used to serve liquor too. This was an additional attraction for the people visiting the restaurant for everything under one roof or at the tip of one's finger. Of recent, the restaurant has no facility to enjoy a drink or a chilled beer. Either the license is not renewed or has been cancelled. So the speciality of this restaurant has waned or the charm lost. The condition of the restaurant too has taken a beating due to the above mentioned reasons, the AC's doesn't function and fans used, it makes the dining not at all pleasent. Food, is still excellent, no other words, the taste of Chinese Dragon is still retained even with the absence of other matters details above. If they are to go like this, in one years time the restaurant will be closed down due to the lack of intrest from the people who frequent this place.
