I regret to share a highly unsatisfactory experience we encountered at your establishment recently. As regular patrons who have consistently enjoyed the food and drinks at your hotel, our latest visit left us deeply disappointed.
We placed an order for Beef Kanthari but, unfortunately, were served Kanthari vodka in error. What exacerbated the situation was the senior manager's refusal to acknowledge the mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, he chose to berate us, insisting that the fault lay with our order.
Despite our willingness to settle the bill for the unintentional order, the manager's unprofessional behavior, marked by raised voices and a lack of accountability, was both surprising and disheartening. It is imperative to emphasize that such conduct, especially from a senior figure, is entirely unacceptable in any customer service setting.
In an effort to express our dissatisfaction, we paid the full bill, leaving the untouched glass of Kanthari vodka as a visual representation of our discontent. Unfortunately, this incident has left us with a negative impression, prompting the decision among myself and my friends to discontinue our patronage to your establishment.
I implore you to address this matter seriously and consider it as constructive feedback to reassess customer service practices. A courteous and accountable approach to addressing errors is essential to maintaining the positive reputation your hotel has earned over the years. It is our hope that no other customers will have to endure a similar experience...
Read moreWent for drinks and dinner with my husband. Given a seat surrounded by bushes in pitch darkness in an area full of mosquitos. There was an area with better lighting, ambience and more open with plenty of space. We asked to sit there but the waiter said that area was saved for groups. The nicer was area was completely empty as all guests had left. We asked two managers if we could sit there rather than where we were. Both said that area was reserved for “batchelors”. We were told that where we were sitting was for couples and families. We tried to explain it was an uncomfortable place to sit due to darkness, mosquitos and ambience. They refused to move us even though the other area was completely empty. We had to leave and tried to explain that their customer service was terrible but they were not interested. We had travelled a distance to come Mercy due to good reviews but it is clear most of reviews are from groups of men. This is not a place for couples and families. We went to Sky Lounge 10 which was so...
Read moreThere is something terribly wrong with the service at this place. Firstly they make you sit at the table of your choice claiming that all the other tables are reserved while none of them is. Even if you insist for a particular table they would end up saying that a particular section of the roof with a view is exclusively reserved for couples. While you sit at the table waiting for someone to take the order an overly rude waiter would show up having no interest in telling you about the menu. He would simply write whatever you speak. Also the ambience is just about okay. In the end they wouldnt even have to courtesy to ask you if you want to order anything else they would just get the bill and place it on your table making you feel unwelcome. Horrible Service and wouldnt recommend it to anybody. Better burn your money than to come here and...
