The staff are very rude. The shop is run by non indian owner whom i met few years back when he started the shop and trying to grand malli or Indian customer. That time, he was more curious to get some north Indian customers belongs to navy which they reside very close to the shop in thevara. And now after several years, i am almost regular to that shop and in front from few months back onwards.. seeing some behaviour changes on the staff that the the customers ( specially mallus) going there are like monsters and looting the money from the owners. Today, me and my son went to the same shop and orders some icecream/ gelatin. But unfortunately, he was not attending us ( the guy over over there) and after quite a long time, he attend us. So much son was asking him ( excuse me.. i want this lotis biscoff and some other flavour) suddenly the guy the shop looked at me and giving a look that you are the paying for this boy… then i i gave hime a look that i am paying for him and ofcoursr i can pay what he orders. Suddenly he started asking how many icecream u want. I said.. bit confused and still said 3. 3 cup .. specifically regular with two scoops. I said… okay.. this flavour and that flavour.. all of a sudden he gave me a bill of 3 cup os double scoop of i cream’s and asked me to pay. I wasted stunt. Then i asked him why, the answer is inspiring me to wrtie a review on the same.” Our owner has said that many mallus play tricks but don’t fall on it” then i suddenly asked where is ur owner… the reply came. “ he is abroad”

Read moreMilano, the renowned gelato bar that had garnered its fair share of attention, left me with a rather mixed impression. I must admit, I had anticipated a symphony of flavors and textures that would transport me to gelato nirvana. However, the reality was a tad less enchanting.
The variety offered at Milano was commendable, with a seemingly endless array of flavors to choose from. Yet, as I embarked on my gelato adventure, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. While the flavors were decent, they lacked the depth and complexity that I had hoped for.
Texture, too, played a pivotal role in my gelato journey, and I found myself yearning for a more indulgent creaminess. The texture of the gelato fell somewhere between ethereal and underwhelming, leaving me with a sense of longing for that perfect balance that characterizes exceptional gelato.
One particular disappointment was the consistency of the gelato. It's as if each scoop had a mind of its own, ranging from just-right to slightly off-kilter. Perhaps this was an artistic attempt to keep me on my toes, but I confess, I prefer my gelato experiences to be a bit more predictable.
In the grand scheme of things, Milano's gelato can be described as "okish." While it didn't quite reach the lofty heights of greatness I had anticipated, it still managed to provide a passable treat for my taste buds. It's the kind of place where you might indulge if convenience trumps a truly exceptional gelato experience. So, if you find yourself in need of a sweet fix and Milano is within reach, it might...
Read moreI had visited Milano a few days ago and had ordered one regular cup – French Vanilla, Truffle, and Belgian Dark Chocolate; one small cup – Stracciatella and Crunch; and one waffle with an ice cream scoop – I think it was Nutella Nutcracker. Both French Vanilla and Truffle were really good and tasty. However, they had provided Belgian Dark Chocolate in a much larger quantity than the others, and it somewhat overpowered both the French Vanilla and Truffle.
Coming to the small cup, both Stracciatella and Crunch were tasty, cooling, and soothing. I had mixed feelings about the waffle, as it wasn’t very crunchy on the outside. It was mostly mushy and soft both inside and out. It should have been a little more crispy on the outside. However, the Nutella Nutcracker complemented the waffle really well.
There are various aspects that make me hesitant to recommend this shop. While it offers a wide variety of gelatos, the pricing is quite premium. Setting aside the cost, they do not provide any tasting samples, nor do they have a washroom—both of which, in my opinion, are essential. Without the option to sample, it becomes difficult to choose flavors that truly satisfy. Also, not providing a washroom is a major drawback.
Overall, the service and taste were good, but they should focus on offering basic amenities such as a washroom and tasting samples. One small suggestion: when someone orders an ice cream cake from the shop, please include some ice packs to help prevent the cake...
