Frozen Bottle - Milkshakes, Desserts, and Ice Cream — Restaurant in Kerala

A very bad experience indeed. A month ago, we visit the branch by seeing an instagram ad by its official page of an “everything for 99” offer and of course, we believe it and travel far to try out this otherwise expensive menu. However we do ask the employees whether all things in the menu are valid to avail the offer and they confirm the same. They do not mention payment upon ordering unlike usual shops so we assume it is to happen at the end. We ordered three items and expect 298 + gst if exclusive so only a maximum of 300 something. They tell us to pay 800+ and I even ask them to repeat to make sure we properly heard what they said. We point out about the offer which is the only reason we came all the way for this and the fact they agreed everything was on the offer, AND that they didn’t say anything until we finished eating/drinking everything we ordered to ensure we couldn’t ask to return and they got payment. In the end, they reduce the amount by 30-40% and we ultimately paid 500 something. Even though it was absolutely over what we thought of our budget (our transportation to get there was also expensive in terms of money and time more than we assumed) even without the money aspect, what they have done was pure deception of the customer and has ruined my complete impression of them especially it being my first time being there. CHEATING CUSTOMERS - 50% PORTION SIZE!!

The biggest SCAM in online food ordering is when restaurants make money by cheating customers and sending them lower portion size to make money!!

I had ordered 2 portions of Pista Gulkand Sundae yesterday. The correct portion size is 350 ml but in both bottles only 200 ml was placed making it approximately 50% less quantity!! The correct portion is when the bottle is filled to the brim but this was much less - about 200 ml only.

I regularly order this in Bangalore and know the quantity to be delivered but it looks like they are getting away with lower quantity with other folks in Kerala who are not aware of the correct quantity.

They also do not put in the strawberry sticks which are an essential part of the portion, and say that this is given to customers only when they dine in !!! What an excuse!!

One pays hard earned money and when people cheat it is the LOWEST FORM OF HUMAN BEHAVIOUR.

Frozen bottle staff need to be respectful to customers. I was waiting for my Visa appointment which happens to be in the same building of frozen bottle Ravipuram and due to the punishing heat of the sun, I decided to go into frozen bottle to get a drink after I saw they putting up a card saying OPEN at around 11:00 or so. Even though they had a clear card saying OPEN laid on the glass door, the male staff who seems to be the manager or so asked me to leave pretty disrespectfully saying they don't have any drinks available due to power outage. The female staff in the kitchen was preparing something and she was looking at the male staff kind of confused manner after she heard him saying so. I saw light in the nearby Dominos and other stores which prompted me to ask if they don't have a backup generator or something to which he replied it is out of order. Come on whom are you fooling? I left and bought a diet coke from Dominos next door in the same building and they let me sit there for 40-45 minutes enjoying my company and talking to me. Thank you Dominos!
