this place been in my bucket list for so long. finally had a chance to visit yesterday. this place is fairly crowded & had a queue infront by the time we went. ie 8pm. Also getting loads of deliveries from Swiggy. We ordered crispy bucket, their signature orange alfam & charcoal shawarma plate. Bucket chicken has 5 decently big pieces, 5 decently sized strips, 3 burger buns & dips with creamy coleslaw. chicken was crispy, super tasty crumb but lacked salt. need loads of dips to compensate the lack of salt. it also comes with a 600ml pepsi bottle. but at 600rs rate its just enough to feed 5 people.creamy coleslaw was a bit too creamy & sweet for my liking. eventhough i liked the dish, low salt is a serious issue; especially in fried chicken. Their signature orange alfam was the best i've had till date - i'll dare say it beats shawarma daddy's alfam. its moderately spicy, super juicy & tender & yum yum.. & the dips are to die for.. normal mayo, orange mayo & mint dips are really really nice. also got creamy coleslaw which is gud- again too creamy. the charcoal shwarma plate was good but not enough quantity comparing to price. they serve it with mayo; cabbage & lettuce garnish/salad & rumali roti- 2 pieces. just enough for 1 person; max 2 persons if u r ordering other items as well. by the time u finish chicken the rumali roti is still there. need to improve quantity. But it was tasty. Overall a good experience. excellent service & the person whom i assume is the store owner was very warm - he was kind enough to let me nibble on the bones while the waiter came & asked if he could take away my plate. & he is one of the most genuine owners i've met in restaurants - hence the 4 stars ps: he said they'll be introducing beef into their menu soon.. so yeyy :-) Do visit this place for a casual hangout with friends or a date night....
Read moreShawarma has always been a favourite and when the charcoal variant of it soon became a rage, I was eager to know the difference it would bring to my taste buds. To be frank, I didn't expect much and brushed off the good things I kept on hearing about both the place as well the food, thinking that all of this was a mere ploy to promote a new establishment. But boy was I wrong! The charcoal shawarma I had that day was hands-down the best I ever had in Kochi. The minced chicken had a very distinctive flavour which contributed to its greatness! Fortunately, I decided to also taste their broasted chicken which, didn't match up to the former's merit, however. The dip served alongside complemented the chicken very well. Fries too tasted nice and were presented in a pleasing manner. Coming to the restaurant, it's quite small which I feel adds up to its obscurity. The ambience too is very normal which I feel is as expected. Rest assured, from the ordered food to the payment, nothing would shake you as they've priced it very reasonable here. They've got some other exciting dishes apart from the above mentioned and I for sure, would definitely visit until I get tired of their...
Read moreI'll start off by saying that the food was AMAZING! The Special Shawarma priced RS. 100 is a no nonsense full meat shawarma with fries in it. One of the best shawarmas I've had in Kochi. The taste is out of the world and it's really really juicy. Worth the money . Next, I had. Triple Scezwan rice with chicken gravy or something priced 220. It was really good! 😍 . For the food and pricing, I give 5 stars. . But overall I gave 3 stars because of the unprofessional management. The waiter when he first came to my table, had a half bitten shawarma in his hand. I told him I'll order in 5 minutes and he left. The water and tissues weren't refilled and when I asked for the refill, while doing so he told me their waiters were on leave. This might be the case so I don't want to judge. Maybe that person is just standing in for today. He was very careless with the order and forgot to bring the Pepsi which was added in the combo. . The next time I go there if it's different I'll surely re-review what I've typed here about the management. . . But the food is really awesome. I...
