SRI MU SARAVANA BHAVAN — Restaurant in Kerala

Went to try their masala dosa,vada and tea and was damn tasty. Was actually pretty good and more tasty than expected.

But I felt the staffs behaviour was not upto the mark.

There are lots of staffs walking here and there but when we need something, no one will be available to come.

I had asked a guy for extra chutney and he just ignored,second time asked then he pointed to someone's and told me to ask him. But that guy was not responding just walking here and there with orders.

The third time I asked , then he went and told someone I think. Later I understood that suppliers and cleaning boys are there both with different uniforms and I had asked the cleaning boy first'.

But honestly they all work in the same hotel,he could have just told the supplier guy to provide the item..but that didn't happen..

Rest everything was ok I think..

If you wanna have some good tasty food...

The food is very average & the service is below par (The fabled Tamil Nadu hospitality is missing). Had a Ghee Roast Dosa (My go to dish to evaluate a South Indian Veg place) , the taste was lacking though instruction of cooking it crispy was followed well. The flavor of the dosa was just not there and certainly not to Sri Mu standards based on other branches. They need to up their game when it comes to service quality and efficiency.

Location is perfect for tourists /travellers who come by South Railway station route or exiting using the Metro or Bus stop. Driving here parking is quite tough to find. I wouldn't travel here specifically for their food, there are other places offering better Veg food and...

I went to this restaurant for having a breakfast. I asked the waiter for what foods were available over there and he listed out some items and I ordered Chappati and veg curry. Then I saw the chappati set served in to the next table and I didn't find very good so I asked an another waiter to change my order to Masala dosa. The waiter said ok sure sir and went into the kitchen. After waiting for 5min the one who took my order came back with a 2 chappati and veg curry and I said reorderd my menu into Masala dosa and he said he cannot offer me dosa because chappati has been started cooking and he was very angry and rude.
