Extremely Disappointing Experience at Mezzo, Kochi – Harassment by Parking Staff , how they handle our cars in valet parking .(Rough / Careless beware .Please do not trust and hand over the key’s to them. Even management will just ignore when we report the incident.

I am writing this review to formally express my strong dissatisfaction with the experience we had at Mezzo, Kochi, which was unfortunately tainted by harassing behaviour from the car parking staff and a shockingly apathetic response from the management.

From the moment we arrived, the parking staff exhibited an aggressive and discourteous attitude, bordering on harassment. Their behaviour was not only disrespectful but also entirely uncalled for, especially towards guests who expect basic courtesy and professionalism from such an establishment.

What made the situation worse was the reaction from Mezzo’s management when we reported the incident. Rather than acknowledging the seriousness of the issue or attempting to resolve it, they chose to dismiss our concerns without taking any responsibility or offering a solution. Their indifferent response made it clear that there was no point escalating the issue internally, as they lacked both accountability and basic hospitality standards.

Due to this unacceptable experience, we had no choice but to leave the premises immediately, and were forced to inform our guests at the last minute about a change in venue—an inconvenience that could have been entirely avoided had Mezzo upheld even the most minimal standards of guest treatment.

Thankfully, we were able to relocate to Millennials Restobar, where the staff were welcoming, respectful, and highly professional. The stark contrast in service and hospitality only reinforced our decision to never return to Mezzo.

I sincerely hope the management at Mezzo takes this feedback seriously and implements the necessary corrective measures. No guest should be subjected to such treatment, either by staff or through mismanagement, especially at a place that markets itself as a premium dining destination.

Mixed Impressions at Mezzo, Avenue Regent Hotel

My recent dining experience at Mezzo, located in Avenue Regent Hotel, left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant boasts a spacious and inviting ambiance, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a dining experience. The staff, undoubtedly, added to the positive aspect with their warm and accommodating service.

However, the exorbitant prices attached to the menu were hard to ignore. Mezzo leans towards the highly expensive side, and unfortunately, the quality of the food did not justify the steep costs. We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken but were served dry chili chicken instead, a disappointing deviation from our expectations. The lackluster taste failed to redeem itself, making the overall dining experience less than satisfying.

The beverage selection at Mezzo also came with a hefty price tag, further contributing to the overall expense of the meal. While the ambiance and staff were commendable, the high prices and the disparity between the ordered and served dishes left much to be desired.

In conclusion, Mezzo offers a spacious and aesthetically pleasing environment with a friendly staff, making it an ideal spot for those valuing ambiance and service. However, the substantially high prices, coupled with the discrepancy in the dishes served, make it difficult to wholeheartedly recommend Mezzo for those seeking value for their money. It might be a suitable choice for special occasions where the overall experience takes precedence...

Whenever I’m in Ernakulam, there’s one place that’s always on my list, Mezzo. Whether it’s for a quiet drink or a casual get-together, Mezzo offers just the right mix of good vibes, great service, and a comfortable setting.

Today’s visit was no different. I went for some of my usual favorites, a well-made Long Island Iced Tea that hit all the right notes, along with hummus, olives, and pita that made for a perfect light bite. I also enjoyed their roasted cashews, peas, and peanuts, the kind of simple bar snacks that go so well with a good drink.

What keeps me coming back is not just the food and drinks, but the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service that makes you feel at ease.
