Excellent authentic bangali food.

Bhetki paturi and elish paturi are a must to have items. Even the thalis offers a great experience of classic Bangali cuisine whish includes fish thali, chicken thali and mutton thaki, and if you are willing to have a taste of Bangali Rajbari bhog then the special bangali thali can give you a never before experience. Adi bangali also provides a lot of verity of pulao options, like pulao with chicken, pulao with mutton, pulao with paneer and pulao with fish(fish kalia). Fish kalia that comes with fish thali and pulao with fish combo is a Catla fish cooked in kaju, curd and onion based gravy, the fish size you get is quite BIG and the gravy also tastes fantastic, little tangy and rish at the same time.

Mutton is very well cooked, soft and juicy. Last time it was the star performer in all the thali items. The gravy was incredibly delicious. A must to try item. But one should never miss the BHETKI PATURI. A restaurant cannot call itself Bangali restaurant if lacks a good paturi dish, and Adi Bangali deserves the title with a crown.

When talking about the main dishes, one should must include the side dishes also. Any of them alone are a good competitor to any restaurant giving bangali food. We had posto, moong er dal, aalu bhaja and aam er chatni. Each of them are best in the segment.

The restaurant is located in the crowded lane of chandni chowk. If you are coming from Esplanade, it falls on the left side of road that leads to lalbazar, maybe a walk of 3-4 min from the CESC building.

A perfect place to munch with your colleagues and coworkers at afternoon, because it serves very fast so your lunch break will be enough to enjoy the ambiance. Also a great spot if you are with friends or family the place never...

Hello this is suvojit. Me and my lifestyle and food blogger friend kothakoli roy visit aadi bangali for trying every kind of bengali thali and bengali items. As we are foody so we tried veg, non-veg both item's and we are just surprisingly love it becuse every food item like prawn ,chicken and mutton are very fresh with a good quantity and absolutely tasty. My friend kothakoli especially love the fish items like paturi and prawn malaikari and I love the chicken curry well cooked soft and sukto aslo. Keep maintaining this this quality. We are gonna visit it again..very soon🌼💛

Totally loved the combos; the fish fry, doi katla are a must try. Loved the flavourful gravies in the combos❤️
