BARBEQUE NATION :: 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If one word could describe it, it would be Amazing. It was my first visit to Barbeque Nation and everything was very satisfying. There's a special offer running for Mondays and Tuesdays of 630 for veg/ nonveg buffet. I opted for this one and went yesterday. This outlet is 7/8 minutes walking distance from Park Street metro, it's very spacious, well decorated and has a great ambience. The staff are very courteous, very humble and helpful. They described us everything properly and were very cooperative throughout.

▫️▫️Now come to the food, first comes starter, what do I say about the starter!! We had aloo,mushroom, paneer, chicken, mutton, fish, prawn and what not 😂😂 everything unlimited, extremely tasty, aptly cooked. Plus you get unique experience of live barbeque just at your table. I was almost ready to skip the main course and shift to desert section but then the live biriyani counter attracted me and I couldn't resist. Then there's a live chaat section which had pao bhajis, chaats. A salad section having 8/9 kinds of salad, there's a chicken salad and a seafood salad which I liked most, then the main course had a veg and a non veg section, had chicken, mutton, fish everything. I don't even remember all the main course items but not many places I've visited usually offer such variety in their main course. The biriyani section is a live counter where they give you somking hot, freshly cooked biriyani directly taken out from the biriyani pot. The biriyani was the stunner of the day. I loved it. ▫️▫️ At last the desert section, I had already heard a lot of their desert, it's very hyped and that's justified. The desert section is to die for. It had fruits, gulab jamun, 2 pastries, sahi tukra, brownies, 2 kinds of ice creams with chocolate sauce and strawberry sauce, one 🍰 which was made of coconut (and I don't remember the name of course) also has a live kulfi counter which has 6 different kinds of kulfis, i.e kesar pista, mango, vanila, pan, chocolate,malai kulfi.they add toppings as per your choice, I tasted 5 out of them 😉 each of these taste superb. I very recently on my birthday occasion visited the place with my wife and child but it's so bad experience that I don't have in the past. We are fond of dinner buffet,but don't have that kind of bitter experience in any place in kolkata, but in a brand name of barbeque nation I saw there is huge gathering beyond its capacity , food quality is ok but they not serve starter in a professional way and I am speechless to find they only give focus to the family came with minimum 8-10 members, less family member they only serve after huge gap, they serve the food after asking for 2-3 times. Then come to main course, where I saw most of the food bowl was empty and after asking them they have only one answer sir wait food ended so we will fill bowl very soon and just imagine to just take mutton and chicken I have to go 3 times and it's very clear to me that it's a fantastic policy as most elder uncle, aunties and some members new to this buffet after seeing empty bowl go to their sit and pay the buffet amount without eating majority of food.

After that during payment a man came and asked me to give good rating and when I share my bitter experience , they told sorry as we have booking more than our capacity and when I ask then why u take booking beyond your capacity they told booking is not in our hand so we can't control....just think in a space of suppose 10 person they take booking of 20 person...shame on you.

When they realise we are very annoyed then they start damage control, give extra drink, good polite talk..but remember the damage already done and you should avoide it if you want but you do it purposefully to generate huge business.

It's my personal experience. Person may have very good experience here and I respect their views. I am sorry if it hurts any barbeque lovers.

My only opinion do business but not by cheat customer and make our barbeque nation to get back its glory where nobody can talk like that. In my opinion they apologise for their behaviour and give a service that will prove they are the best
