Be it the open air sitting or the glass rooftop with an apparent illusion with the starred laden sky high above, one can even move a floor up with the stairs leading to an apparent terrace with a clearer view of The 42 and the historic Victoria Memorial. The multi cuisine menu and an exhaustive bar section certainly adds on to the list.
We had the pleasure of trying Charcoal Fish Tikka having Bhetki fish marinated with infused spices, charcoal paste and herbs. Mixed Panfried Noodles with Steamed Noodles Panfried on low heat and topped with a thick sauce with an assorted mix of meats and vegetables was an absolute bliss.
Beer Battered Fish n Chips came with Crispy & Golden brown Basa fish served with crispy chips and kasundi mayo on the side was beautifully complemented by a delicious Red Velvet Molten Choco Lava Cake with Mouth melting lava cake made with flour, butter, sugar, egg white cocoa powder and chocolate.
Be it the fresh open air outside or the earthly feeling emancipating from the greens and flowers on the interiors, pick your spot and experience Botanik Skylife in all its beauty.

Read moreA group of us went here a few days ago excited by the prospect of beautiful views and nice cocktails. We initially asked to be seated inside but there was an overwhelming odor of some sort of cleaning product so we asked to be moved. They were kind in accommodating us. Then the waiter and manager came over. The waiter was great. The manager, however, tried to upsell all the members of our party into more expensive dishes and drinks. In my case the drink he was pushing was more than twice as expensive. The food was acceptable. Some good dishes and some pretty underwhelming. Two of the five of us got upset stomachs the next day. The big problem was when it was time to pay. They tacked on a service charge, which has been illegal to do in Kolkata since 2022. When we told the waiter he immediately understood and went to fix the situation. The waiter was great. The manager however had a huge temper tantrum and seemed angry stomping around and glaring— we saw him rebuke the waiter through the window. He was very unprofessional and rude. We did tip the waiter well. But for what it’s worth our mediocre meal cost twice as much as the many other excellent meals we’ve enjoyed at Park Street establishments over the past months. Coming to the mocktails they are really good. The cocktails were good aswell. We tried a few starters like pan fried fish, that was really delicious. They provide a lot of main course options too, both in Chinese and Indian cuisines. The starter section has kebabs aswell. Overall the menu is good. They have great dessert options too, we tried a few like the laddu rabri and kesar pista icecream. They were great.
The service though needs a bit improvement, the helpers who were suggesting us the food and taking orders were not aware of all the menu items, and had to call their supervisor again and again to answer our doubts.
Coming to the pricing, I personally found the food a bit over priced. Yes the quantity is satisfactory, the service is really good, and the ambience too, but the prices of some items were really high.
Overall nice vibe and food. Definitely a go to place with friends...
