Hey Guys, If you have ever visited Kolkata, or will visit in forthcoming days then don't miss to cost TungFong Restaurant at Parkstreet Jockstrap. It is bit expensive but you will be satisfied with the quality of Recipe you get there.I was in second year when I went to this Restaurant for the first time. I was accompanied by my brother and some bonhomie. Avery senior brother among our group hosted a party on the occasion of his engagement and so he invited us.I was not willing at first but somehow my friends forced me to go.Let keep tell you, whatever and which ever beverages you have heard till date you will find over here. For a glass of drink they charge pretty well. Normal price is 500Rs + . Different Chinese, Tibetans, Nepali, Italian, continental, seafood etc appetites you can experience here. The environment inside the restaurant is very good not conjusted at all. If you wanna host a party different room is there and in a table at least 20 people can sit together and have food. We were 26 in numbers during that time. I still think the total bill of all the things we had that day were more than 1 Lang.Delicious pork, Manchurian, prawn and baby tortoise are the famous recipe. I like to keep on changing my taste so when ever I go out, then I try usually new foods. I suggest you all, those who can afford the cost and wanna chill , then Tung Fong is for you. Just for the class they maintain, varieties of dish, exuberant service by the waiters and managersI would choose to rate 5 out of 5 stars for this restaurant.

Tung fong, is already a well-known place in the Kolkata-map, if not in the World. I say this, cuz neither have I finished travelling the World as of in this 3D-Existence, nor have I been v active in Kolkata & the likes of places... I'm just a Curious Traveller but of Life, traversing the Spots that come-up in my Life's trajectory, as destined!ð This is the FIRST-time, I visited this Soothing place, with an Old-World Charm-- where the Decorations & Decorum , screamed of that Era. TimeStamp was unmistable. The huge space, a Dome-shaped structure bang in the centre of the famed Restro, adorned by this Beautiful Wooden-carved Ceiling~ was Breathtaking, atleast, to Me. Large Sitting arrangements, rectangular & circular Eating-Stations, which could seat upto 7 or more people Ig, are strewn accross the floor-area. People were seen enjoying their Luncheon or Brunch meet-ups with Friends or Family; 'twas a Saturday Afternoon, that I had visited ParkStreet. And yeah, ParkStreet's Signature Ambience was not to be missed also! Once you enter the Restro, you are immediately transported to a Quiet & Indulgent atmosphere, where the silence is only broken by the sudden burts of happy laughter from people gorging on their Superbly Aromatic food & talking their hearts out! The Ambience, the Food & the Service- all were quite standard. My Firsttime Experience, did not go bad at all, rather, it was quite a nice one to remember & go visit again type of! ð

Few days before we decided to go to Park Street.. Our first choice was Peter Cat.. but for long queue we decided to shift to Tung Fong..... Location : Well known Restaurant.. so it does not need any introduction ... its just beside Mocambo.... Decor : Very well Decorated and Spacious Restaurant.... Very Well maintained... Just need to work with the wash room.... Food : There were like thousands of items.. But we decided to stick to the familiar ones... We ordered 1 Veg Chow, 1 Mix Hakka Chow, 1 Sezchwan Rice, 1 Chilli-Garlic Chicken, 1 Shanghai Fish Accidentally they also served us Garlic Chicken to us in place of Shanghai Fish... but later they changed it immediately when they noticed it.. but by that time we already consumed almost 50%...But they did not charge us for it.... Veg chow was decent... Mix Hakka Chow was delicious.... We thought the sezchwan rice would be little spicy... but it was not so... Chilli Garlic Chicken was Good... Shanghai Fish was very tasty and spicy as we expected... and Non paid Garlic chicken was also very good and tasty too........ Price : Before entering we thought its a very costly restaurant.... but delightfully it was very much affordable... all this costed around 1600/- only...... Service : Very good... one of the best service i have ever seen... very polite and decent and quick......

I was initially turned away from Tung Fong because there were only big tables available, despite the restaurant being quite empty. This seems to be a common issue in the Park Street area. Determined to try it, I returned with four people next day and secured a table. The ambiance is very basic, but the service is impressively fast; our food arrived within 3-4 minutes of ordering, even when the restaurant was packed. Chicken Talumein Soup @ Rs.186 (2/5) Chicken Sweet Corn Soup @ Rs.181 (4/5) Chicken Wanton Steam Half @ Rs.241 (2/5) The Talumein soup is their specialty, but it didn't impress me. The sweet corn soup was good, though. The wantons were not juicy and fell far short of the authentic versions you can find in Chinatown or Teratti Market. Sweet & Sour Fish Full @ Rs.730 (2/5) Tung Fong Special Fried Rice @ Rs.323 (4/5) For the mains, the fried rice was okay, but the sweet and sour fish was overly saucy. It felt like batter-fried fish mixed with ketchup and a few veggies, which completely ruined the flavor of the bhetki. Overall, Tung Fong excels in super-fast service and provides a decent dining experience at a surprisingly affordable price point for a premium area like Park Street. However, if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, Chinatown is the better choice, even if it costs a bit more than Tung Fong.

When Bar-B-Q, Mocambo had shoved us off owing to huge rush at their restaurants, Tung Fong became our savior, for the 10 of us (we office colleagues went for a get together dinner party) and opened their doors and their heart to treat us with their sumptuous food and made us feel comfortable with their neat and clean ambience ( not very overcrowded like feeling). For starters we tried : 1. Crispy chicken wanton 2. Drums of heaven (fried) 3. Drums of heaven ( with chilli garlic sauce) 4. Butter fish finger All of them full plates were more than sufficient for all of us! For the main course we had: 1. Mixed fried rice 2. Egg chicken fried rice 3. Kung pao chicken 4. Sweet and sour fish Tried their various mocktails too which were also fine. However, the menu doesn't really look very fancy but rather the old style Indian Chinese kinds but I must mention that each and every food tasted awesome and did not taste like the usual Chinese food that we eat quite often.. and this is where I will say that Tung Fong stands out! I am sure many had already eaten at Tung Fong and if you are one of those who still haven't, please do visit and taste the pleasure for yourself and satisfy your taste buds and your tummy !!

Two decades old Chinese restaurant in the heart-throb of Kolkata. It is located in Park Street area and easy to connect. The ambiance of Tung Fong is another standout feature. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a mix of traditional and modern elements, creating an elegant and cozy setting. The lighting is soft, and the seating arrangements are comfortable, making it an ideal place for intimate dinners or gatherings with friends and family. The attention to detail in the decor adds to the overall charm of the restaurant and enhances the dining experience. Their service was also top-notch. On the weekend you might have to wait but we got our seat instantly on the weekend. You will be left wondering what to order since they have a vast menu with innumerable options, and have different sections for different kinds of meats. After some discussions we ordered ðĪŠ:- Chicken steam Wonton:- 3.5/5 ( Best Wonton from the kitchen of Tung naam) Chicken drumsticks:- 4/5 Chicken fried rice:- 4.5/5 Tung fong special Cashew chicken:- 5/5 (The best, filled with lots of cashews and Mouthwatering) Must try item:- Cashew chicken
