Read moreThe experience at Kim Ling Gariahat yesterday (30.07.25) was simply superb. I had visited their Tangra outlet many times; yet did not venture there yesterday due to the evening rains. The place was on the ground floor and no stairs issue, suitable for elders. The area is air-conditioned with lots of sitting space, maybe 40-50 or even more... We (4 persons) had Lung Fung soup, Chicken Mushroom soup thick) and Thai Soup. The Lung Fung soup was a bit bland but seemed Ok by adding a bit of vinegar. The Thai soup (mixed with lots of chicken and prawn) was superb with a bit of spicy, bit sour taste and a great flavour. All the soups had a good amount of chicken. Just want to say that there are full/ half/ quarter options in soup & the half portion itself is suitable for around 2-3 people! For starters we had crispy fish and pepper garlic prawns – each had around 8-10 pieces and were all very tasty. The crispy fish was really crisp and had a great fish filling and the pawn pieces were well-sized; both paired well with the green chilli sauce. Frankly after having all these, we had little appetite left but tried some main courses – 1 plate special mixed Meifoon (chicken/ prawn) and Shanghai chicken – both were quite good! Again – all items had large servings. Had masala cold drinks also at the end! Superb service also – all dishes arrived around max 10-12 minutes after ordering and the service leaves no cause for...

I mean nowadays it's like if u want authentic chinese either they overcomplicate it or they actually miss the concept.
This place is an absolute knockout. The entrance and everything: just one phrase don't judge a book by its cover . Not a very fancy aesthetic look the restaurant has but the food is so mouthwatering.
We went there for lunch and ordered Shanghai Chicken and Chicken Rice noodles.
Absolutely blown away by the fact that for half plate of Shanghai Chicken they r serving 8 pieces and really chunky ones and the full plate they said would have 16 pieces. I mean it's my first time witnessing such an amazing thing. The taste absolutely succulent. The chicken pieces had an equal ratio of meat and coating with the gravy so so flavourful and moderately spiced.
The Chicken Rice Noodles , fell no way short , it was delicious, the noodles were perfectly boiled, flavoured, not sticking to each other with a good amount of chicken and veggies and maintaining the unique trait of rice noodles. The quantity for 2 people was wholesome, so we ordered a Thumbs up which they charged us only 30/-
We visited on Durga Panchami and luckily we didn't get a queue but just half n hour later the rush begin. I absolutely loved this place and so happy that I gave it a shot , will surely visit again .
For 2 it...
