A nice cozy place to relax. That's how I wud describe, Cup eবং A place to take your kids, where they spend time bonding over a game of chess or ludo, and munching away the sandwiches and slurping away the last bits of pasta. Or just sit with the guitar and strum something for your beloved, when she is sipping her coffee and taking a bite from the succulent pork chop. Or take a cup of first Flush, with the fish and chips and keep enjoying your novel. This palce has something for everyone. Pork chops - 8/10. Pork chops are quite common nowadays. But what's different here, is how it is presented. With the regular sauted veggies and mashed potato, they serve a poched egg. So the bite of succulent pork with the equal proportions of meat and fat, when mixed with the egg yolk, makes a difference. But one thing I personally didn't like was the mashed potato. It felt rough. The smoothness of the mashed potato was missing & downgrading the flavour of the entire dish. Fish & chips - Here the fish is more into a batter fry, rather than conventional fish fry. Also the other thing that I liked was the potato wedges. But then again, the way potatoes were fried, was a bit over fried (personal opinion). And add a bit more of spices to the wedges. The cheese mayo dip, with parsley, was actually enhancing the flavour of the dish manifold. 7/10 Sandwiches and pasta -- Pretty regular, but definitely taste wise, the absolute homemade taste, but more herbs. And the amount of chicken in sandwiches was whole and hearty. Very good for quick bites on the go. 7/10 Mutton Dahivada - Ok, I had this dish for the first time. But after talking with the owner , came to know, it's actually a very old recipe from the Bengali kitchen of Rajas n Maharajas. Two aromatic kebabs of minced mutton, absolutely melting inside the mouth, in a cold base of sweet n sour dahi and mint chutney. So now we have an absolutely meat based dessert as well. Savour this beauty. It's worth every dime. 10/10 Egg devil - Once Kolkata was known by this dish, but slowly it is losing its true identity. Here they are maintaining the true identity. Crunchy envelope of minced mutton, a soft white egg inside. As you reach the heart of the egg, you are taken aback. The original recipe of double yolk is back with a bang. Now take a hearty bite of minced aromatic mutton, soft bland egg white and the smooth yolk, and let the taste settle. 10/10. Overall rating 9/10 Don't miss egg devil, pork chops, mutton dahivada.

Yesterday's #dinner was one of it's kind!! Enjoyed the delicious #porkplatter at Cup e বং - a quaint cafe serving a compact yet outstanding menu consistently for the past two months on the second floor of #AvisharShoppingMall.. Yes, it's a no frills cafe so you won't get the luxury or the cozyness of any standard cafe however, you will get some amazing food to gorge on for sure.. #DarjeelingPorkplatter included: Pork Momos Hand made Pork Sausages Smoky Bacon Pork Ham Pork Salami Pork Hungarian Sausages Cheese toast Egg poach With home made red sauce and home made mint mayo sauce.. Oh yes, it was unadulterated #foodgasm at it's very best indeed.. 😍❤️ This humungous platter is available at an incredible pocket friendly price of INR 275 only and yet, everything tasted top notch.. Also, tried the thick #hotchocolate with a sweet tinge - just like i love it.. A perfect drink on a winter evening.. What makes this space even more #special is the one man show behind it which is almost unthinkable in today's world - yes, this #cafe is run by only one man who procures materials, cleans, cooks, serves the customers, handles billing and last but not the least ensures being a warm host to everyone who visits the cafe every single day for seven days a week.. Now, that's one hell of an achievement by itself.. It takes a lot of courage to leave your job and start following your passion fulltime with a family to take care of as well.. Yes talking about the one and only Amit da - all I can say humbly dada is that your constant struggle will yield the results one day pretty soon and my best wishes to you and your cafe.. Your grit and passion inspires us to take the hard and long road ahead always without blinking an eye.. I have just come back from #Darjeeling but this delicious #porkplatter certainly takes me back to the hills on a nostalgic foodtrip - such is the texture and aroma of these delicacies.. Drop in at this cafe anyday between 12pm till 10pm for a gastronomical experience and you will not regret a bit.. My humble two cents: #MUSTTRY.. Journey of an Epicurean Cine Trotter (FACEBOOK/BLOG) continues.. Cupebong Café has easily become one of my favorite spots in the city! From the moment you step in, the cozy and welcoming ambiance draws you in. The café is a perfect blend of indoor elegance and charming outdoor seating, making it an ideal place to hang out with friends, especially during Durga Puja season. And the fact that it’s pet-friendly is such a bonus! Now, let’s talk about the food! I tried a few dishes that left me absolutely impressed: • The Chicken Overloaded Pizza was cheesy, packed with toppings, and every slice was a delight. • The Mizo Ramen had the perfect balance of spice and flavor – a comforting bowl for noodle lovers. • The highlight for me was the Maharaja Pork Platter – a true feast that’s not only generous in portion but loaded with succulent, tender pork. And then there’s the dessert! Their Cheesecake was simply divine – creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness, paired perfectly with a cup of their hot tea. Cupebong has the kind of vibe where you can settle in for hours, enjoying great food and even better conversations. Plus, their attention to detail in crafting everything in-house – from the sausages to the salamis – really sets them apart. If you’re looking for a place to relax, chat, and indulge in some seriously good food, Cupebong Café is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Stepping into Cup Ebong, we were immediately enveloped in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The soft lighting, coupled with the gentle hum of Bengali classics created a perfect backdrop for what turned out to be an exceptional culinary experience. Forget your average cafe fare; this place elevates comfort food to an art form.

Our table was soon laden with a symphony of flavors, starting with the Chilli Pork. Oh, the Chilli Pork! Tender, succulent pieces of pork, bathed in a rich, vibrant sauce that struck the perfect balance between heat and savory sweetness. Each bite was an explosion of taste, leaving us wanting more. It wasn't just spicy; it was a complex, layered heat that tantalized the palate.

Next came the Green Pepper Chicken. This dish was a revelation. The chicken, cooked to perfection, was infused with a fragrant, herbaceous green sauce that was both refreshing and deeply satisfying. The subtle hints of coriander and other fresh herbs created a light yet robust flavor profile, a welcome contrast to the fiery pork.

Of course, no meal is complete without dessert, and here too they did not disappoint. We indulged in a Brownie that was the epitome of decadence. Rich, fudgy, and intensely chocolatey, it melted in our mouths, leaving a lingering sweetness that was pure bliss. And then, there was the house special Caramel Custard. Silky smooth, with a delicate caramel sweetness, it was a creamy, comforting delight, a perfect ending to our meal.

What truly set this cafe apart was the sheer quality of the ingredients and the obvious passion that went into each dish. Everything was exquisitely prepared, showcasing a level of culinary expertise that is rare to find in a casual cafe setting. The flavors were bold yet balanced, and the textures were simply divine.

The service was also impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience.

In short, this is a gem. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy truly delicious, thoughtfully prepared food in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, look no further. This cafe is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates culinary excellence. From the fiery Chilli Pork to the delicate Caramel Custard, every dish was a testament to the chef's skill and passion. I cannot recommend it...
