Mon Chow — Restaurant in Kolkata

Visited this place during a Saturday afternoon. The choice of dishes alongwith the quality and quantity literally blew my mind. All the dishes that we tried were delicious. We tried:

Fish 65 - half plate - Consisted of 4 medium sized fish pieces. The fish was really fresh. The sauce had the correct balance of tanginess and spice. Must try.

Red Pepper Chicken - half plate - Consisted of 4 medium sized chicken strips and the pepper was roasted which gave it a nice smoky flavour. Must try.

Honey Chilli Fish - half plate - 4 pieces of medium sized fish in a perfectly balanced sauce, topped with sesame seeds.

Special Gravy Chowmein - half plate The quantity was so much that we asked the server whether he had mistakenly given the full plate. Absolutely delicious. Gravy was full of vegetables, chicken, eggs, prawn and it has a poach as well. Must try.

The seating area is small with 2 tables and 8 chairs in all. The service is really fast. The prices are very pocket friendly and the quantity is more than enough. They also serve combos. Surely...

Delicious food, great quantity and very budget friendly. Half plate option is also available for almost all items so you can try out variety of dishes. We had ----

Mixed hakka noodles (full plate - rs 180) - quantity was so much that two adults can easily share it. Lots of egg, chicken and prawn. Absolutely delicious. 10/10

Chicken 65 ( half plate - rs 100 ) - had 4 pieces of chicken ( medium sized chunks ). A perfect blend of sweet, tangy and spicy flavour. 10/10

Drums of heaven (half plate - rs 100) - 4 pieces of medium sized chicken. Very flavourful. 9/10

All the foods were freshly cooked. Service time is not too long. They also do not charge additional GST so this meal costed us 380 rs only. Definitely going to visit again.

P.S. - 1. They have only 2 tables, each with with 4 chairs so you may find it full and wait outside for some time

The opening time in Google maps is listed as 2:00 pm but it actually opened at 2:30 pm . So please keep that in mind. We had to wait for half an...

A small cosy place, perfect for couples, looks like a cafe but a Chinese restaurant. Nice vibe, affordable prices and surprisingly good food.

Chilli Garlic Chicken Noodles @ Rs.100 (4/5) Thick noodles, tasty, spicy, exact amount of sauces, just the perfect chili garlic noodles with ample chicken chunks.

Also I've tried their mixed fried rice and chilli chicken before, all were good.

Best part is they serve half portion of every item that makes it even more affordable and portion is quite good too.

If you've issues with pork and can't go to Rinki and Gunjan then this is the alternative, also I need to mention they make far better food...
