A beautiful #lunchdate after what seems like ages courtesy my recent busy schedule as a #restauranteur (but nothing can kill the #blogger that forever resides in me) 💯

#Romaania - an Italian fine dining pizzeria that i have been eying for eons now which I finally got to cover today - it was an outstanding experience to say the least - right from the beautiful roof top ambience to Kolkata skyline views to impeccable service to last but not the least certainly - lip smacking food (alcohol served as well) on offer served with absolute perfection ❤️

We started off with #GrilledSalmon served with saffron mash (loved this delicious twist to an usual potato mash), grilled veggies and a brilliantly made garlic sauce - the pink salmon was a delight for our tastebuds - an absolute stunner indeed - undoubtedly, the best salmon i have tasted till date in our city of joy (five star restaurants included) 😋😍 - absolutely worth the 1175 rs price tag 💯

Next up was the #ShrimpScampiFlatbreadPizza (an unusual choice for us since they don't serve beef or even pork unfortunately - my only grouse regarding this otherwise outstanding pizzeria) topped with butter shrimps, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Cream Cheese with a balsamic glaze - this seafood pizza was indeed a revelation for us that flatbread pizzas without bacon or peperonni and certainly without too much of cheese can still bring a delight to any tastebud - every topping was balanced not overpowering the other and again I would have to conclude that this was one of the best (if not the best) pizza I have had in the city - take a bow ❤️

Any authentic Italian Pizza meal has to end with a #Tiramisu and ours was no different - the lunch ended on a high courtesy the perfect dessert ❤️

Thank you Romaania for a delightful lunch coupled with your warm hospitality - this lunch will stay on with my tastebuds for quite sometime indeed - can't wait to be back again at the earliest to try out some other stuff on your menu along with a repeat of the #PinkSalmon without fail 🕺😋❤️

HORRIBLE PLACE. DONT VISIT This place had been on my wishlist for the longest time and we had been wanting to come here for a long time. I visited here with family and carried along an Instax camera (which is an instant Polaroid camera which produces a physical photo as soon as clicked). There is no mention on their page anywhere that no videography, use of DSLR or Instax camera is used. We placed our food order and went to their outdoor seating area to click pictures to capture our moments here and we were stopped by one of the waiters who asked me to see my camera saying it's their policy of not allowing Instax camera or DSLR to click any pics. When I asked the reason or logic behind this "so called absurd protocol" neither the waiter nor the manager could provide one. They acted like they were some exclusive 5 star Michelin restaurant and couldn't accommodate a simple request. Spoilt our mood and the experience.

Besides that their food is overpriced and not so great, the cocktails are horrible and the prices are pretty steep for the kind of behaviour and experience they provide and for such below average food quality. Their waiters try to overcompensate with their politeness but THIS place is not worth visiting even once. The name claims to be a Greek restaurant, but they serve Italian food (pizza, pasta and some grilled dishes) and play Albanian music and think their patrons are fools.

You can better go for some well known restaurants instead of spending here. If you need Italian food go to Sorano, or Fabbrica or Babylon for greek food but definitely...
