Scrapyard - Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Kolkata

I went to Scrapyard with an old school friend of mine. It's located on the tenth floor of a building in Camac Street. It has got a great setting. We were really amazed to get a great view of the Kolkata city from the roof. They have a bar, and a rooftop seat setting accomodation.

On entrance, we were greeted by a female receptionist and confirmed of the Buffet option we would like to avail. They have two Buffet options - Unlimited Food(699/- INR) and 2. Unlimited Food plus Unlimited alcohol(1399/- INR), which includes Wine, Beer and Sangria. So and my friend decided to choose the Unlimited Food Buffet option.

We filled our plates with following STARTERS 🔹Fish Finger. 🔹 Chicken Kurkure. 🔹 Chicken Popcorn. 🔹 Chicken Tikka.

The Fish Finger was awesome! It was so crispy and melted in the mouth. It wa lip smacking good. We took Fish Finger again!

Now coming to MAIN COURSE, the items we took are: 🔹Jeera rice. 🔹Des Chicken i66. 🔹Chilly chicken. 🔹Pasta in mixed sauce. 🔹 Sandwich. 🔹Paneer Bara Masala.

▪️The Desi Chicken was cooked in a light masala and spice. It was very tasty. ▪️The chilli chicken was spicy and was finger licking good. ▪️The Sandwich was had much fillings and was delicious. ▪️ Rest of the items were also very nice.

Let me tell about the DESSERTS section: 🔹 DOUGHNUTS. 🔹ORANGE TART. 🔹CHEESE CAKE. 🔹RED VELVET CAKE. 🔹CHOCOLATE CAKE. ▪️All of these were fantastic!

THE DRINKS SECTION🍻 We were very impressed when the manager said before we order any beer(Beer being their signature drink, since they have their own brewery), they would give us to taste 5 types of beers absolutely free of cost. After tasting the 5 flavours, the GOLDEN ALE beer was the one, which made me so happy. It was fabulous! I think I have never had such beer ever! It's a must try here.🍻

THE AMBIENCE Scrapyard has a very lit and vibrant ambience and decor. It has got wall arts. The yellow glow lighting is excellent! It's totally photogenic. 🤳📸 The sitting accomodation is nice. The high rise chairs are very comfortable. They also have Live Music. When we were there, a band was performing, and we grooved to its beats. 🕺🏼💃🏼.

STAFF BEHAVIOUR AND HOSPITALITY ▪️The staffs have a very friendly and kind attitude. ▪️Even we had already tasted the beer while having the buffet, the bar tender again offered me to taste all the five flavours of beer free of cost, before I opted to go for GOLDEN ALE

Overall, I liked and loved this place a lot and would visit again. It's a must visit for all people who love...

A microbrewery with rooftop sitting and amazing DJ. What more can a person want.

The perfect place to spend a quality evening with your near and dear ones. They have two types of sitting space an indoor and an outdoor. The outdoor sitting has has two decks. We choose the upper deck for its breathtaking night views of the city. The place is romantically lit though photography can be a bit tricky in the evening. They have several flavors of their in house beer. They allow you to sample some of their beer. After sampling we choose Taxi and Victorian

Taxi: is a light belgian wheat based beer. It has citrusy aftertaste and buttery smooth finish. We loved this one. (Recommended)

Victorian: is a strong Belgian wheat based beer. It has a higher alcohol content and a darker color. It had a slightly spicy flovor. We also liked this one

A 330ml of beer costs about 371 and 550ml sets you back by 450 there's also a 3L option for 2251. We liked taxi the best

Scrapi Heart: a champagne based cocktail with lemon and sugar and sweet vermouth. Nothing too impressive.

They also serve hookah with all the usual flavors. We took a brain freeze hookah and honestly amongst all the brain freeze I have tried around the city this one hit the hardest. Their flovors was amazing.

Coming to the starters. 2 in 1 non veg pizza. The best of the lot. A thin crusted pizza with half of chicken tikka toppings and the other half with chicken malai toppings and ample cheese. Really awesome. (Recommended)

Thai kafir Lime chicken: Chicken cooked in gondhoraj juice. Another great dish

Bhut Jolokia shredded chicken: Bhut Jolokia is a chilli from nagaland. This one was really spicey and had a smokey aftertaste. Quite different from other dishes. (Recommended)

All the starters was nice. But the main course was a tad disappointing. First of the quantity was not justified by the price.

Indian non-veg sizzler: plain rice with chicken tikka masala papad and french fries served on cabbage leaves. Was really disappointed by this dish. The quantity was not even enough for one person and the taste was okayish at best.

Thai green curry: chicken cooked in coconut milk and kafir Lime served with rice. The chicken had a tangy taste to it. Dish was quite flavorful

The ambience and the service is unparalleled the beer and other drinks are also unique. But the main course dishes...

Located at Camac Street, this is the ultimate place to hangout with your buddies with great music and delicious food. Scrapyard is a microbrewery too and their craft beers are simply amazing. This beautiful Lounge spread across two floors. The lower floor is divided in segments including the bar, indoor seating, a DJ console and the upper floor of this Lounge has two sections, one is glass covered seating & the other out in open with comfort seating arrangements. In this pandemic situation they are following all the health protocols so that you can have a safe dining experience. They are sanitizing and disinfecting all the surfaces, their staff wearing protective equipment all the time and they are doing thermal checkups as well. Recently I visited this place with my friends and tried the following items.

•Disc Pizza - Loaded with Cheese and Veggies. These mini pizzas tasted delicious.

•Egg Bruschetta - Fresh veggies and boiled eggs spread on a warm slice of perfectly crisp toasted bread. Don't forget to try this one.

•Keema Ghotala Served with Bun - Loved the combo of Minced Chicken, spices and shredded eggs. it was full of flavours. The buns were really fresh.

•Mexican Rice with Jacket Potatoes - This combo is perfect when you want some comfort food. This simple yet flavourful combo was quite nice.

•Chinese Sizzler - This veg Sizzler was loaded with Hakka Noodles, Paneers and lots of veggies. This one is highly recommend.

Overall I had a great experience here. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. I'm definitely gonna visit this...
