The 10e cafe — Restaurant in Kolkata

Located at Hungerford Street, Kafe Bindass has been revamped & the owners have rebranded the whole property starting from the interiors to the food & opened up as 10E Cafe!

Well, this new place in town is adorned by wall graphitti with a Victorian style whitish decor in the outdoor seating area of this place. They've a spectacular transparent roof on the outdoor seating space which is full air conditioned as well and looks vibrant and colourful with plush decor! They've provisions for live screening both indoor & outdoor with two screens placed strategically for the customers to get a clear view at them! The indoor seating area is also quite comfortable. Also, one can hire the indoor part for kitty parties & birthday parties! Coupled with refreshing Seesha, delicious food, fizzy mocktails & soulful desserts, the splendid ambiance and this place is ideal for a perfect hangout with pals & loved ones! Would recommend the Drums of Heaven, Coriander Fish Finger, Salt n Pepper American Corn & Cheese Balls from the Appetizer section which we tried out and were amazed by the flavour, texture, presentation & taste!

From the mains, we had Pizza, Thai Ginger Chicken, Charmoula Chicken & Veg Mexican Rice Jacket Potato which turned out to be absolutely lip-smacking! The non-veg items were tasty on one hand & delectable on the other! The veg items were absolute delight and worth trying!

We also gave a shot at some of their signature mocktails likely the Mojito, Blue Lagoon, Ice Tea, etc which were refreshing, fizzy & flavourful.

Service is quick with pricing done strategically keeping the student pocket pinch in mind which is again something worth...

The worst kind of cafe I've ever been to. Firstly water was not served. When we asked for regular water, they said that they don't serve regular water and water from outside isn't allowed. You would literally have to buy a bottle worth rs 10 outside in 35 rs.

We waited for the attendant to come forward but he was too busy with his mobile phone ( there was surprisingly only one attendant). We called for him and he came after 5 minutes. He was engrossed in his business while we were ordering, responding to our orders quite late. Nothing was available save noodles and chilli chicken. Clueless what to order and to satiate our hunger, we had ordered pizza and french fries which tasted 2.5 out of 5.

Overall, the cafe was a total abomination.

(Editing this after getting a reply from them) First of all, I'm not illeterate to fight with a restaurant attender over adjusting the tax amount under the coupon as no one does that and I'm pretty much aware of it. Secondly no other restaurants that I've visited denied me of regular water and insisted on buying bottled water. Thirdly, stop blaming customers to save your back and writing lies in the reply box wouldn't take you anywhere, as you probably know very well that we didn't say a word about tax adjustments. Infact, you didn't care to return our change and we were quiet again cause that was too less a amount( probably 2 or 3 rupees) inspite of the disgusting service that your provided us with. 10 e Cafe is a cafe with amazing vibrant interiors. This place serves amazing dishes with great shisha.

They have a two seating area, very spacious and good. This cafe is open till 4 am which is a great thing isn't it? Perfect place to crash and chill after a long night with your friend.

Let's talk about the food now:

Kiwi Springwater hookah: This flavour was pretty good and the coal lasted pretty long.

Salt n Pepper American Corn: This was pretty good and tasty. Recommended

Cheese Balls:. Its a soft and cheese filled balls served with sauce, The cheese was mouthfeel and very tasty. Highly Recommended.

Margherita Pizza: Perfect thin crust Margherita pizza, loved the taste and cheese.

Veg Mexican Rice Jacket Potato: Perfect flavours of the Mexican rice. Very delicious.
