Subway Shakespeare Sarani — Restaurant in Kolkata

Extremely disappointing experience. Ordered via Zomato. They delivered a completely different order with one item missing. Could be a genuine mistake so I called the restaurant to enquire. The server who picked up was extremely rude and condescending even after understanding that they made a mistake, and asked me to contact Zomato and said that it was not their problem. They never picked up my calls any further. Such behaviour should lead to restaurants getting blacklisted. I have emailed Zomato support regarding this and have a recording of the call as well. Will escalate this matter to get a fair resolution. Please avoid, opt for other Subway franchises.

Edit: I did escalate the issue and was called repeatedly by their representative asking me to delete the review to get a refund for the same. Turns out to be fake promises. I’ll forgo the refund and let this review stay. Hope people can learn from this experience and stay away from this...

Sorry to say but guys, the employees working here is not paying heed to our request,

Since we were the only customer in the venue, and its the time of the year when ppl succumb to flu, We asked to lower the ac but in a rude way they refused to co operate with us, making silly excuses, when we requested that atleast we can turn off the swing of the ac but they said NO. The ac was also dripping water. They were super super rude with silly excuses. If the management is reading this, please teach your emoloyees how to give hospitality to their customers.

Also, our hands were dusty. We asked the person if I can use the wash basin to wash the hand. They again...

I recently visited this Subway station, but the sandwich artist was incredibly rude. The staff and other customers were not well-behaved. While I was eating, the sandwich artist pointed his finger at me multiple times and stared at me as if I would run away without paying. When I refused to leave a tip, they asked me to throw my leftovers in the bin. Was I even supposed to do that?

I wouldn't recommend this Subway outlet to anyone. They don't have a washroom, and their air conditioning wasn't working. I felt exhausted, especially on a...
