Recently there has been buzz about a newly opened place in Hinjewadi called ‘Cherie’ and it made me so intrigued that I had to visit this place over a weekend.
Before visiting this place I was under the impression that it is going to be another typical bar/ lounge and I didn’t have my hopes high but upon entering this place, my brain didn’t have to play any tricks to change my thoughts. Do you want to know why?? Then read below points:
AMBIANCE: Firstly this place is not at all your typical bar/ lounge. It’s a mix of fine dine and lounge. And trust me this kinda place was much needed in this part of Pune. Their ambiance is so Chic that every corner of room tells you a different story about creativity and efforts it took to design this place. Warm, cozy and chic; these 3 words define this place in best possible way. And not to forget live music on weekends is cherry on top.
FOOD & DRINKS: I was quite dazzled with their ambiance but still had my doubts about food. Drinks I was expecting to be good since the have a swanky bar but most of the places with swanky bar don’t do justice with their food. But boy oh boy I was wrong. This place serves one of the best food in Pune undoubtedly and let me tell you why. I have ordered 2 TRUFFLE dishes; one starter and one main course as I am someone who love flavour profile of truffle as it’s really difficult to find such deep flavours in Pune (since I’ve had best ones outside Pune). The first one was TRUFFLE EDAMAME CREMEUX which was an appetiser. If I have to explain in layman language, there were phyllo (extremely thin) baskets filled with green coloured mousse which was made of avocado, edamame, jalapeños and truffle oil. And as soon as I took the first bite and when the truffle oil flavour hit me, my tastebuds tantalised and that’s when I knew it was the best in Pune. And that’s when I decided to try main course named TRUFFLE & BUTTER FUNGI Pasta which was another heaven. Spaghetti covered in truffle butter and Parmesan along with mushroom is one of the best pasta you can savour. Another starter I have tried was GAMBAS CALINTE; made of shrimps tossed in spicy garlic and paprika sauce and it was good. In dessert, they still have limited option and I’m hoping in coming days they will expand it. I had LECHES WITH DULCE MOUSSE which I was found decent, a little too sweet for me but again it’s subjective. For cocktails I have tried 2 GIN based cocktails; BERRY NEGRONI (Tangy flavour) and ONE on ONE (sweet and spicy) out of which ONE on ONE was my fav because I like spicy cocktails over sweet.
SERVICE: 2 words, prompt and quick. All host and hostess were courteous and humble, provides recommendation upon asking. This lady named Muskan who attended my table has been amazing host and made my whole experience smooth.
Final Verdict, if you are someone who is bored of going to those typical bars/ pubs/ lounge, please give this place a try and trust me you won’t get...

The musician was playing flute, while we were enjoying our meals, the flute did enhance the extra vibe to our dining experience. After 10pm they even lowered the lights to elevate the whole dining experience to make it warm.
Hospitality was top notch, we were well attended and explained when we needed extra info. The staff was polite and with a smile always. Definitely a plus!
My recommendations
Citrus & Beetroot salad with feta cheese and Chicken: this beautiful edible garden of delight filled with crunchy lettuce, orange, walnuts and the dressing. A good start to our palate.
Truffle Edamame Crémeux: Avacado mousse, edamame, chives and jalapeño truffle oil in Phyllo basket. Loved this small flavourful bomb! Must try
Chicken Ham and chilli Pizza: chicken ham, turkey and bacon elevated the flavour of Thai pizza.
Chilli & Coriander Lamb Chops: lamb chops cooked in Tandoor and served with cous cous salad. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the flavours of tandoor did its job well, cous cous balanced the spiciness of the lamb.
Dessert: a) Leches with Dulce mousse: this ultra light butter cake soaked in the mixture of three layered milk and topped with dulce mousse filled our hearts with joy b) Chocolate mud cake: soft gooey delight!

My second visit "The restaurant was aesthetically pleasing with vivid and picturesque interiors, enhanced by ambient lighting that set the mood perfectly for a cosy dinner. The service was incredibly quick, and the food surpassed expectations with its scrumptious flavors and generous portions.
We indulged in a wide-ranging menu, from Asian to Continental and North Indian cuisines, and enjoyed experimenting with cocktails and desserts. Highlights included crackling crispy chicken baos and Parmesan croquettes, paired with refreshing mocktails like the Prosperity Spritzer and perfectly balanced Spice Sour cocktail.
For mains, the pan-fried noodles and creamy corn cream cheese kofta with butter naan were particularly delightful. To top it off, the New York cheesecake was a soulful dessert that became an instant favorite.
