Spice Factory — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I dont give less than 3 STARS to any place unless it really disappoints me. I will try to be as honest of my experience as possible. Pros:- There was enough parking at the basement. You will have to pay ₹30 for the parking. The place is huge, enough space indoors and on terrace. The interior is tastefully done. Good mix of materials used like exposed bricks, designer plaster, wood wherever necessary. Dimly lit ambiance is perfect for creating your own space on the table. Food was good (whatever we ordered, all vegetarian). The taste of fries, soup, paneer etc was extremely good. The veg fried rice was super tasty.

Cons:- The place is on 2nd floor and reaching the second floor is a task with the unwelcoming and slow lifts. We were a family with my mom-dad in law and my wife and kid, the space allotted to us was too busy, couldn’t really be comfortable in that space. After ordering the soups, one of the soup came in time, but for the other soup that was ordered along took 45 minutes. I had to wait in from of the kitchen door to know the status of my order. The waiters dint have any clue about the order, even after checking there highly bright computer screens. The waiter again served the first soup and we were taken aback. After a little inquiry for about 10 minutes, got to know that they goofed up the order with another table. No one came around us again when wanted 2 bottles of water (I guess they ignored our table as we did not order drinks and non-veg food either). I had to again reach out to the bar counter to get the 2 bottles of water. We were so much ignored that I had to get up and reach out to the table where they keep the extra spoons and forks. We did not order anymore as it was a long wait after each order. The bill too took over 15 minutes to arrive (Royally ignored us I felt) We left the place, may not visit again or recommend...

Heavy rains!!! And heavy traffic!! It was a day before of ganesh festival, as we know pune is full onn for this Ganesh festival. We decided to head somewhere where we can reach early and have our dinner without any afflict. Being here for the first time, we had no clue about this city nor about the restaurant. It was last day for Dineout GIRF deals luckily we found few slots for dinner and went with this offer. We have never such crowd in Hyderabad. Almost 15-20 members were standing outside , who has already waited for one hour. There was no table vacant.

Ambiance was simple with few decorative lights, restaurant can accommodate almost 60+ persons. Restaurant has live bar counter.

Food:- Cheese balls:- it was served in 6pieces , with sauce under each cheese ball. There was simple presentation for food.

Paneer tikka:- 7 pieces served with chutney and a little salad 🥗 it was simply delicious .. paneer was soft and perfect in form.

Cheese mushroom:- little amount of starter , i mean less quantity. However Mushroom was not that great, just because of cheese, we had the starter.

Chinese fried rice:- plain rice with few veggies. This is not served with any gravy.

Chinese burnt garlic rice:- this is same like plain fried rice, there was no difference and no garlic flavour.

Veg biryani:- this is something we liked of all food we had. Raitha was served for this. Biryani was quintessential.

Music:- they have played all Hollywood songs.
