Being from the Middle East, I often find myself craving authentic shawarma, hummus, and other beloved dishes from home. During my stay in Hinjewadi, Pune, I was thrilled to discover Marrakesh, a gem of a restaurant that serves the best shawarma in the city.

From the moment I walked in, the aromas took me back to the streets of my hometown. I started with the Authentic Shawarma, and it was everything I hoped for—tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced. The Chicken Shawarma was equally delightful, wrapped in soft pita bread and bursting with flavor. I also tried the Falafel Shawarma, which was crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft inside, making it a great vegetarian option.

The hummus here deserves special mention. I ordered both the Lebanese Hummus and Garlic Hummus. The texture was smooth, creamy, and paired beautifully with the freshly baked pita bread. The Toum (garlic sauce) was a perfect accompaniment, adding just the right amount of zing to each bite.

To spice things up, I tried the Harissa, a fiery condiment that brought out the best in the dishes. Marrakesh truly captures the essence of Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine. The flavors were authentic, the portions generous, and the atmosphere warm and inviting.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !!! FRAUD RESTAURANT

I ordered Ghosh Rogan (Mutton) and Chicken Kalimirch Tikka for Dinner, The whole order was UNEATABLE

Problems: In mutton, the gravy was VERY SOUR like someone mixed ketchup with water and vinegar added Mutton pieces were all bones no meat (95% Bone, 5% Meat) Chicken was completely burnt in test, appearance was also as burnt, it was bitter to the core, cannot take even 1 bite,

Immediately after taking a bite I called restaurant and communicated problem to the manager, he told me that they don't have any delivery agent at the moment (all planed so that I could complain on Zomato) so they will send same order next day, I was bit hesitant for same order due to experience but i agreed for next day, Next day no communication, after 2 days I called again and in summary they said we can't do anything now, you ordered from Zomato so go to them

I first visited Marrakesh in Hinjewadi when I was craving authentic Lebanese food, and now I'm a regular customer! Their authentic chicken shawarma and falafel shawarma being my favorites—both are packed with flavor. The hummus and garlic hummus are rich and smooth, perfect when paired with their zaatar naan. For those who enjoy a bit of spice, their harissa dip is excellent. The traditional toum garlic sauce is another highlight that complements every dish.

They offer a delicious vegan shawarma for those looking for a plant-based option, and everything is Halal, catering to everyone's needs. While Marrakesh is only a takeaway and delivery restaurant, the food quality is outstanding every time.
