We visited Rio Kitchen & Bar, Hinjawadi at the end of April (around the 26th–27th) as part of an office outing with a group of around 20 people. We reached quite early — around 6 to 7 PM.

The place has a nice atmosphere with a dedicated dance floor and one of the coolest DJs we’ve experienced in Pune. The music and vibe definitely added energy to the night.

One thing we appreciated was their policy on alcohol consumption — they provide wristbands to help identify guests who are allowed to drink, which is a thoughtful and responsible approach.

However, there were a few downsides: • The theme is rustic/industrial, which may not be to everyone’s taste. It wasn’t very clear from the pictures online, so it caught us a bit off guard. • It was extremely hot that evening, and the fans weren’t very effective — just blowing warm air around, which was quite uncomfortable, especially for colleagues visiting from abroad. • The food was average and didn’t really match the overall vibe or expectations for a place like this, especially given how much we ordered (a lot of food and alcohol). I found the place was little over priced everything. We ended up paying 53k for all of us.
