1441 Pizzeria is a name that makes my 2 daughters jump on their feet, nonetheless, we do so as well. Pizzas being our favorite food, when we came to know about the Cheese fest and the concept of "making our own pizzas", we could not resist yourself from coming here. The moment we entered this place we had good vibes. The decor of this place is very vibrant with painted and colorful walls as if you feel you are sitting in a quaint little cafe in Italy. They have lower as well as high table seating arrangements. The staff guys were very nice, friendly and prompt with their service. Mr. Shahrukh who served us that day was very friendly and took great care of our needs and helped us chose correctly. Really appreciate his patience with my kids as well as for being extremely kind to us. We visited this place for lunch and we had a wonderful time here. The excitement was already building with the thought of baking our own pizzas. So we first started with lemonade, iced teas, and soft drinks. We had ordered 2 of their special starters, Jalapeno poppers This became my favorite as it was so delicious. The texture of these poppers was perfect, with golden brown crisp from outside and gooey and cheesy from inside. It was served with a dip which paired well with it. Highly recommend this here.
Garlic cheese dough balls This dough balls were very perfectly baked. They looked like crispy small balls stuffed with cheese. The first bite we had made us drooling and we relished it so much. Again recommend this special dish here. Thanks, Shahrukh for recommending it to us.
Now the exciting part had begun to make our own pizzas. We went for 1 Classic Margherita pizzas, our kids so loved doing this, wearing an apron and a chef hat and pretended to hone their cooking skills. Ther got this opportunity to enter the kitchen, make their own pizzas that they had loaded with so 2-3 types of cheese. Seeing a broad smile on their face really made our day. They were content to make and eat their own pizzas.
Gourmet Pizza for us Well, I was equally excited to bake my own pizza that was loaded with vegetables, cheese and finally topped with sundried tomatoes and basil. Totally relished our pizzas here and I guess one of the best pizzas. The feeling of contentment was at a different level as we were involved in the making of it.
For desserts Nutella dough balls These cute little Nutella dough balls were so nicely baked and beautifully presented. It was like a treat to our eyes. A lovely dessert here that I would highly recommend it to everyone here. Nutella Pizzas This was again a winner for my kids as their 2 favorite things on earth pizzas and Nutella, came together in one dish. So their happiness had no bound. They polished it off in like no time and we hardly got a bite to taste. This will say a lot about it.
Overall we had a fantastic time here and that too on Children's day. Its definitely a place worth visiting and the cheese fest is there till the entire month of November, so do not forget to hop to one of your closest outlets of...
Read moreIt was on my wish list since the longest and finally visited them for dinner. They were absolutely par excellence & lived up to all my expectations. Had heard so much about their concept of "making your own pizza", here I was finally making my own which surely was a fun experience. So in "make your own pizza" they make you wear apron and chef cap, to get you in the feel of an expert chef! The dough is spread out for you and then you have 2 types of pizza's options - gourmet and classic, further they have 3 options for your base sauce, viz, the classic tangy, Mama's sauce which is spicy and Jain. Furthermore, you have unlimited options for the toppings which you can put as much as you like. Vola your pizza is ready. Make your own pizza is not the only attraction that will drive you in but their other pizza's in their menu are extremely delicious as well. And how lucky my visit turned out to be! As they have CHEESE FEST going on this whole of November. Which is good news for - we pizza lover's as there are some exceptionally mouth watering pizza's prepared for us this whole month and a very lavish menu specially curated for the CHEESE FEST. The service is incredibly prompt and super friendly. They guide you with a smile throughout the make your own pizza & don't shy away from making apt suggestions. Hence, they do deserve an extra brownie point for their staff and on going cheese fest.

Appetizers
• Jalapeno Poppers you must call for these as they are so crunchy from the out, having a golden crust and when you bite into it it's all cheesy, yet you get the flavors of the spiciness of jalapenos in it. It is served along with mint dip which goes perfectly well with it.
• Chicken Wings were super delicious! The BBQ flavor was on point and chicken was absolutely tender. Must have for sure.
Mains
• Make Your Own Pizza, the experience was such a delight and yes the pizza turned out to be yummy even though I'm not chef! Well, that's the magic of this place.
• 8 Cheese Pizza was the one we tried from their CHEESE FEST menu, it is heaven for cheese lover's as it consists of 8 Cheese, viz, mozzarella, smoked mozzarella, cheddar mix, buffalo mozzarella, bocconcini, parmesan, cheese spread and gouda. It's a real treat for cheese lover's. Surely a must have.
Desserts
• Tiramisu is made by them in their kitchen. This is definitely the best Tiramisu that I've eaten so far. The sponge was extremely fresh and soft & the whipped mixture of sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa was just perfect. Highly recommend it.
• Nutella Dough Balls, I was blown away with presentation as it's a visual delight to see them and even more drool worthy as it's extremely toothsome. Again highly recommended.
Verdict - Pizza's are worth every penny, the appetizers are also extremely flavoursome and desserts are for sure to get you drooling. So, it's definitely a must visit as your experience with them will surely be memorable not only cause of the great food but the fabulous staff and a...
Read moreThe name has the coordinates of Naples, Italy I.e. 14-41.
It’s a unique way to name the restaurant.
They serve wood fired thin crusted pizzas. They’re good at it too.
I happened to try their latest outlet at Malad west.
Here’s my experience.
Location and proximity from Station:
1441 Pizzeria is located on the busy street of Malad West. You’ll take nothing less than 15 minutes during peal traffic. In general it’s a 10 minute rickshaw ride away from Malad station. The nearest landmark would be Infinity mall and also near Movie time cinema.
Ambiance and seating:
The ambiance has a lot of elements of how an Italian place can resemble. Yes, they’ve used the color red and green extensively. This place can seat at least around 30-40 people max at any given time. The kitchen is open and you can see your own pizzas being made. Also, you can make your own pizza by choosing the crust, base, sauces, toppings etc!
Food and Drinks (Appetizers):
• Cheese Dough Balls - Here, the dough balls have cheese stuffed within. This is the next best dish of the evening. You can call this as a timepass snack that can be had at any point of the meal. For cheese lovers, definitely recommended.
Jalapeno Poppers - The show stealer. I’m a sucker for jalapeno poppers and really try it everywhere. Here, the poppers were made with jalapeno, lots of cheese and were deep fried. The peri peri seasoning helped in giving this an extra edge of spiciness. Usually jalapeno poppers must be a bit spicy and not at all sweet. It kind of kills the mood. Thankfully here the poppers were spicy and amazing. Definitely recommended.
• BBQ chicken wings - Usually I avoid having wings anywhere because sometimes it’s not well made and every time it’s a messy affair. But on the staff’s insistence we tried a portion. The marination of the BBQ sauce was too good resulting in the wings disappearing from our plate within a couple of minutes.
• Pizzas- Like I mentioned above, they have the concept of make your own pizza where in you decide what goes in your pizza. There are a lot of options right from the base, cheese types, sauces, toppings for veg and meat etc. You can get a lot of variety each and every time you visit. Our pizzas were meat based with few toppings like jalapeno, olives and bell peppers. We liked it.
Desserts:
• Tiramisu - The usual tiramisu with the liqueurs have quite an impact. Here they don’t have that kind of an option hence we found it decent only.
• Nutella Dough Balls- Yes, anything with Nutella with it gets a smile on our face. Here the Nutella is spread over dough and then rolled round and baked. Post this, these are sliced into smaller bite sized portions for everyone to enjoy. This was refreshing and we liked it a lot. A perfect end to the meal.
Conclusion:
Overall, 1441 Pizzeria is never a disappointment and if you like authentic pizzas, this is the place to visit...
