Dessert Therapy — Restaurant in Mumbai

Injustice and wrong behaviour experience of Mr Dinesh @ Desert Therapy malad west . I visited today with my family of six including my senior citizens mother to celebrate Birthday of my daughter. As we entered the premises we found only one table vacant ,it was a very first table from the cash counter, a table for 6/8 people. My family settled and ordered and we rec'd our order and as soon as my daughter took her first spoon, the Manager Mr.Dinesh came and requested us that we are six and we are seating on the table of six so pls shift on next table of six ( No request tone ). I spoke with Dinesh that we are six and my daughter has started her desert dish but Dinesh refused . I told him this is is not correct boss but okay as a gentleman i requested my family that i think there is a group of 8 people is waiting so we must shift to next table and simply calmly We shifted immediately. ( That's what each one will do in this situation )

And then a group of 3 person settled there by Mr Dinesh. This was a very very insulting behaviour and injustice to me & my family. I kept quit . After finishing i asked him, for what reason you shifted my family because only group of mere 3 persons is seating there.. He has no answer also and no guilt/sorry tone also. Although showing us his attitude. That was totally wrong . I ask all my friends , is this correct what the manager Dinesh did ? He spoiled my family's evening and cheated us. I am requesting the owner Mr Harsh pls look at this matter and check CCTV recording between 11.30 to 11.50 pm on 11 th Nov 24. Friends simply Please...

Very disappointed with the place. Had heard some great reviews but unfortunately we friends did not have a good experience at all. The place was completely full, so we entered and sat on a bench/ swing, which ideally should have been a waiting area, the staff asked us to get up, cos apparently it is their photo booth for social media!!! Unfortunately places like these only want to look good on social media, but customer service is pathetic. Next they give us a table, that is 4 of us sitting in a straight line. We asked them that this would not work, so as soon as they get another table to move us. We had already placed our order, and see a table being vacated, I try to call the staff to move us, but they completely ignored us and seated the other customers. When I call them, very conveniently they say that they are 5 hence we have given that table to them, and we should continue sitting where we were. This is absolutely ridiculous. After getting annoyed with their attitude after almost 10 mins they accommodate us on another table. After such horrible service, we were expecting dessert to be good. But unfortunately the dessert was also a disappointment.

Guys please up your game on customer service and dessert. Service with such attitude won’t bring you customers. Only looking good on social media...

Today i ordered a strawberry cheesecake from here through swiggy and paid Rs.205 for a 200ml jar of Go cheese mixed with whipped cream, no sugar, no essence and a marie biscuit crust without butter(which he called wheat crust ie like graham crakers) I complained to swiggy ofcourse..then i called the bakery hoping for a refund and the owner/baker picked the call...i told him that it was not cheesecake and he started explaining to me that it was his version of healthy cheesecake with no gelatin (ever heard of agar agar Mr Baker & how is cheese healthy? Oh and he thinks cheesecake can't be made gluten free or dairy free 😐 i have two word SILKEN TOFU)...and that he was in the business for 3 yrs, he apparently supplies to other bakeries/shops or hotels as well 😑..yeahh right.. I kept quiet & listened to him giving excuses..explaining the fundamentals of baking to a homebaker of 8 yrs...i listened for a few more mins then gave up. Arguing with a fool makes you a fool too. He lied through his teeth about the process of his cheesecake making...he tried to make me look ignorant so in the end i just said ok & disconnected the call. I think i lost a few brain cells while talking to him...he is delusional plus ignorant af and calls himself a baker. My money down the drain...urghh...😡 i will never order...
