Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters | Bandra — Restaurant in Mumbai

Visited this Delhi and Mumbai's famous coffee cafe in Bandra at by lane of Pali hill. Such a cosy place to unwind with great coffee and food. I visited with my bunch of friends and had an experience of trying out its exquisite coffee flavours. The coffees were well-served-perfectly roasted coffee with perfect blend and subtle flavours. The food includes croissant, bagels, danish and muffins. My Orders- Hot Brews: We wanted to try out their different Mocha flavours that had melted Mason & Co chocolate, double expresso shots and steamed milk. • Coconut Mocha- Made with Mason & Co’s coconut milk dark chocolate, this mocha had strong coffee mixed flavours of coconut along with. • Peppermint Mocha- This had peppermint dark chocolate nibs of Mason & Co which perfectly gave the minty taste with strong coffee flavour. • Chilli Cinnamon Mocha- Made with Chilli Cinnamon dark chocolate of Mason & Co had the strong and subtle taste of coffee with some cinnamon chilli flavour.

Cold Brews: • Cold Brew: This is like the cold coffee with no milk at all. Served with ice and some sugar syrup to adjust in your taste buds. This drink will give you no acidity and a smooth body at the same time. • Nitro Coffee: A must try coffee, this is the nitrogen infused drink that taste creamy and strong just like a beer. Food- • Almond Croissant: This is the best croissant I’ve ever had in my life. Very buttery, soft, sweet with amazing sugary fillings and sprinkled with almonds on top. Just loved it! • New York style Bagel: These are soft and chewy bagels served with sesame with crunchier crust. Yum • Soft Bagel: It is the basic bagel served with sesame; these are soft, not so chewy bagels...

I would give it a 5 but i just have one complain regarding the online delivery. I am quite a regular here, love their coffees so much! I was someone who stopped drinnking voffee but finding this place, kind got me hooked!.But every time i order online for the dark chocolate sea salt cookies along with coffee, sometimes i get lucky and get it, if they have run out of it they usually send a brownie (vegan), But this time I.e over the weekend I ordered, they sent me the oats cookies which isn't eggless and I genuinely didn't know if it was, i couldn't find it on the menu on zomato or swiggy, I took a few bites and sometime later i started to feel weak and this is the reaction i get when i eat anything that has egg in it,. I then had to go on the website and i found out it was not eggless. Just letting you know I am a vegetarian, I am super allergic to eggs. It would be appropriate that you refund the money if you run of the eggless/vegan options.. for your sake and the customers sake! I love blue tokai but you need to fix it please. My 2nd time. I think my last. I might try one more time. I came at 11:50 am, and waited 10 minutes for service at the table by the register. They just ignored me while handling walk up and to go customers. When they finally came, I ordered a pour over (couldn’t tell me what the bean or blend was, the major reason I come here as opposed to Bagel Shop or some other generic coffee joint). He tried to talk me into an AeroPress, saying it’s stronger, stronger. He desisted. I got my O.K. pour-over. I don’t get the hype. It’s a poorly served, tiny coffee shop with vague coffee selections. It’s on the way where I was walking this morning. My third time, a year later. I came to buy some of their superior beans but the cafe is still a den of coffee ignorance and some of the poorest service around. I just don’t get the hype. Today I received an espresso instead of an Americano and and one cold almond croissant when I asked that they not put it in the microwave. Cold pastry. Oh, she dumped the espresso in my hot water and brought it back. Good enough. That must be their motto,...
