Old school Indo-Chinese eatery serving delicious authentic 90s style gaadi-Chinese!
Chhotu’s kitchen is a trip through time. Went for dinner here with a cousin and found myself almost nostalgic.
Folks from the 90s will distinctly remember the taste of Indo-Chinese sold in the gaadis. Their unique smoky flavour was inimitable. You will not find this taste in a restaurant.
We ordered the Manchow soup, with a Manchurian starter and Triple Schezwan noodles. Everything was perfect flavour-wise. They even give generous amounts of fried noodles and freshly made Schezwan sauce as a side dish much like the old days.
Seating is a bit limited. If you prefer standing they even have a gaadi outside. Service is fast as well. And the prices don’t burn a hole through your pocket!
A definite visit for Indo-Chinese...
Read moreI have always loved CHOTU's for its authentic indo-chinese taste. But today, I hate to do this but I have to give single ⭐. And I would no longer recommend especially if you are coming with kids.
Me and my spouse went for the OG Veg triple rice, Manchow soup and Veg Manchurian Dry and ordered thumbs up.
We initially had the Manchow soup and later came the other dishes. UNFORTUNATELY, we saw a COCKROACH in our Veg Manchurian dry dish and we complained about it and we simply left.
We paid for soup and thumbs up. Thats it. Chotus had been my favourite since my college days and hate to do this but I would no longer come and eat here or atleast until they get there hygeine straight.
Should have taken photos...
