The owner Eddie is delusional I used to come here all the time with my family over 25 years ago beginning and I can attest it is no where close to what it was then the quality and service has gone down hill completely there is no organization at all nobody is held accountable and the service to be honest is completely lousy and a mess what a shameful shamble and this place should close immediately. Ordered drinks took 10 minute to get the drink menu and another 10 mins to order and 15 more min to get the drink. Starters ordered 3 sent one back because it was raw and instead the manager came out started squeezing them with his hands in front of us and smiling then walks away 5 minutes later Eddie comes out and says rudely there is nothing wrong with this I ate it it's fine threw the dish on the table and walked away. Why even bother with this place anymore there are so many better places golden china at the taj royal china etc. what the owner does not want you to know is all the places they lost contracts with including CCI guess what over quality so we are not dreaming this and Eddie should know that his father worked so hard to build a legacy that is now crumbling whole in Eddie's hands because he does not care about anything. The customers the food quality the people who work here the only thing he cares about is money taking yours and offering terrible service and quality. You never argue with the customer his father never did but his father also never had as many issues as he has because he did it with pride something Eddie doesn't have at all. The manager should also be ashamed to do that in front of guests with his behavior. This place deserves the new name of CHINA DUMP . Nobody apologized for anything just took things for granted the restaurant lied about my cousins post she never abused anyone or assaulted them if anyone did that it was Eddie ! Shane on you for lying ! Let it be known that I have come visiting from the USA and was appalled by the service and attitude...
Read moreI was there for my birthday as I had been here over 12 years ago and had loved the food. From start to end the service was horrible. 1. At the valet, the guy is standing and watching us rather than coming to take the keys. 2. We enter 10 mins late but our table takes another 15 minutes. 3. Horrible placement of furniture where one is required to push other seated customers to find their way. 4. No one comes to attend until we ask for one. 5. Glasses come and water takes it own time. Table napkins don't come until mid way of eating I realised they were missing. When we call for them, the lady serves 4 our of 8 people and leaves the rest for others to help themselves. Again here the count of one table napkin is less. 6. Clearly the service guys seemed untrained to perform. They come with orders, don't know how to serve people seated in corners and serve half food kept on table and just disappear. And we are paying a whooping service charge of 10% for this. 7. We order crispy honey chilli chicken the chicken is chewy as if it was fried and kept for long, in the name of honey there is hardly is anything. We also order 4 seasons orange chicken and it was one of the most horrible chicken I have had, there was crispy chicken dropped in almost a water consistency extremely sweet sauce which felt nothing like orange and tasted horrible. 8. The food quality is nothing great. 9. We had ordered pork chilly which had a peculiar stink in it 10. They called simple soya garlic chicken as gourmet chicken which was nothing special for the price we paid. The bill was a shocking figure for the horrible service and food quality. Very dissapointing indeed. There is a sincere request to take this as a constructive feedback cause everyone is paying their hard earned money to be served what was one called the iconic Chinese food in Mumbai. We came all the way to give our parents a good experience and it has been very...
