Third Wave Coffee — Restaurant in Mumbai

Look no further. This has become mine and my wife's go-to coffee place in Mumbai! Third Wave Coffee offers a cozy yet pulsating workspace, along with it's freshly brewed coffee and stellar service. We have been regulars here since over a year now (right after crossword was open post renovation), and we couldn't be happier about how it turned out! Nothing can beat the smell of books and coffee combined together. And no place does it better than Crossword.

Since day 1, we were overwhelmed (in the best way possible) with the expertise and warmth with which the staff greeted and serviced us. We were fortunate to find the most accommodating and friendly manager in Mahesh since Day 1 itself. Not to mention that he himself is a javaphile and connoisseur, both of which came across very organically in his coffee tastings and demonstrations that he graciously offered us. While Mahesh is no longer this branch's manager, he has instilled the same culture in the baristas here, namely Ruchi, Priti, Varsha, etc. They all greet us and serve us with warmth, smiles and cheers everytime we visit TWC, always leaving us longing for more!

Great coffee can be found in a lot of places, but great and consistent service is uncommon these days. So kudos to Crossword and TWC,...

I had to Change My Review Regarding this store from 5 star to 2 Star, The major problem with this Third Wave Coffee Store is constant shuffling of staff and re-hiring of new employees since everytime Third Wave Coffee opens a new store at different locations they just take the staff from existing running store who are handling the store for months and dump them to new location the problem is this store takes a hit in customer footfall why because regulars like me who used to get proper services of food and beverages before are now served by new employees who totally mess the order or forget delivering their order on time and they majorly goof up when there are maximum swiggy or zomato orders and they forget the customer on table who gave the order before swiggy or zomato, the earlier staff was much better than the present ones. It's really make think should I visit this place again or not shud I switch to...

I discovered Third Wave Café after I went to have a look at the newly renovated Crossword Bookstore at Kemps Corner, where I often bought books from. I was really impressed with the energy at the café, and visited few weeks later. I have been there couple of times since. I had flat white, espresso, brownie, and a cake, some kind of cheese cake. I really liked the brownie. The staff is very friendly and the order was served fast. I also liked the decor, chairs, and the location overlooking the bookstore. During the weekdays, the café has mostly college going customers, hanging out or even doing work on laptops; and on the weekend, it seems to be people in 30s and 40s just catching up.
