For our Valentine’s Day dinner, we visited this charming Italian restaurant, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Given the occasion, reservations were essential, and we were lucky to secure a table. The ambiance was warm and cozy, with soft lighting and elegant décor that set the perfect romantic mood. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were comfortable throughout the evening. Their service was prompt, friendly, and efficient, adding to the overall delightful experience. Now, let’s talk about the food—undoubtedly one of the best Italian restaurants in Mumbai! We began with some cocktails, which were decent, though not extraordinary. Moving on to the appetizers, we opted for the mushroom ravioli, and it was simply divine. The rich and creamy mushroom sauce paired perfectly with the stuffed chicken ravioli, creating a dish that literally melted in the mouth. For the main course, we tried the Pollo Picante pizza. It had a bold, spicy kick that added a unique twist to the classic flavors. While it wasn’t the best pizza we’ve ever had, it was still delicious, with a perfectly crispy crust and generous toppings. The real showstoppers of the evening were the desserts. The Tiramisu was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had—light, creamy, and full of rich coffee flavors. The chocolate goey cake was equally indulgent, with a soft center that was pure perfection. Yes, the restaurant is on the pricier side, but for an evening of exceptional food, top-notch service, and an intimate atmosphere, it’s absolutely worth it.

Happened to walk-in to this seemingly little looking restaurant which at first gave me train type feels, as it is long restaurant (the seating and space of Gustoso is length wise). This is possibly a Bombay thing. But once we sat at our little corner table it felt like a warm, cozy space with a fancy yet comfortable vibe. The place is beautifully and minimalistic-ally done and has a bigger dinning space towards the end (I think it is the smoking space). We ordered all vegetarian dishes - a pizza, arancini balls and another starter whose name I cannot recall. All the dishes were delicious and served in decent time. All were fresh and it sort of justify the price of the same. Most dishes here cost upwards of 700-800. While we didn't order any beverages our bill was around 2500/-. This place is a must go for Italian food lovers (who want to enjoy a meal without an overdose of cheese). This place is located in a corner on the main road (at least that's why it was when I last visited). Despite being a pricey place it was packed and I suggest you do a reservation and visit the place. The place was packed with family, couples, young and old alike.

I never do reviews unless I have a particularly bad experience, and have only done one review so far. But Gustoso deserved a special review since my experience with them was so terrible. I've been a regular at Gustoso for years, and love the food - but found a live cockroach in my salad today - when I was halfway through the salad. The restaurant manager Nadeem refused to take responsibility - he said the most he can do is offer me a replacement salad and a free tiramisu. He basically said they've been serving this salad all day with no complaints and will not take responsibility since the food has left the restaurant. (if this is the case they shouldn't be doing deliveries). He also then suggested maybe the cockroach got in through Swiggy's delivery partner, which wasn't possible as the food boxes were sealed. Thankfully Swiggy agreed to refund my order amount - but the fact still remains that Gustoso is refusing to take responsibility for something that could have made me gravely ill. Never ordering from there again with their terrible quality and even worse attitude towards customers.

Location: Next to Pop Up Hut, Kwality House, Under Kemps Corner Bridge

Recommendation: Frozen Berry (Mocktail) Involtini Di Polo (Highly Recommended) Crostini Burrata Indianapoli Pizza (Highly Recommended) Zeppole Tiramisu (Highly Recommended)

Located in one of the prime locations in Gustoso just beside Pop Up Hut, it's one of the best places in Mumbai to enjoy authentic Italian Cuisine. When I say authentic, I really mean it as none of the dishes here are even slightly Indianised. The ambience of the place is simple yet classy having a seating arrangement for two or four people with a long bar counter and a bake stone where you can watch your Pizza being made freshly as they offer Wood Fired Pizza. We started off with Frozen Berry which was a super refreshing Strawberry based slush. They actually used fresh strawberries and you will be asked for your choice of seasonal fruits available for this particular drink. We absolutely loved it. The first dish to come to our table was the Crostini Burrata which consisted of two sliced & buttered baguette topped with fresh Burrata cheese along with oven toasted cherry tomatoes drizzled with basil infused olive oil. I loved the freshness of the bread and the cheese. However taste wise it was decent enough. The Involtini Di Polo consisted of sliced and rolled Chicken stuffed with a mixture of mushrooms, spinach, Parmesan and Mozzarella in a white wine butter sauce. It just won my heart! DO NOT MISSED IT! We also tried Mushroom Risotto which was loaded with porcini & button mushrooms and truffle oil. One of the things this place is famous for is their Parmesan Wheel which is first of it's kind in Mumbai and one of the only places which makes it the best. The Chef makes melts the center of the huge cheese by pouring a liquor and lighting it up using a blow torch. He then mixes the Spaghetti made in white sauce over the melted area making it more creamy and cheesy. The process is absolutely amazing to watch. The Indianapoli Pizza is something I still remember and would go here again for!! It was a freshly made wood fired Pizza with toppings like Sauteed Onions, assorted Bell Peppers, Kalamata Olives, Mushrooms, Jalapenos and of course Mozzarella on a thin crust (bit thicker at the edges) slathered with mildly spicy San Marzano Tomato sauce. DO NOT MISS IT. We will ended our meal with Tiramisu which was one of the finest I have ever had! Note: The Tiramisu contains Liquor and Egg. Most of their desserts contain eggs but the Zeppole is the only and best options which is eggless. It basically consists of fried Pizza dough drizzled with loads of Nutella. Overall this was my first experience here and I am definitely up for the second one!

Gustoso first impression as we enter the space is refined, stylish and sophisticated, an elegant upscale Italian joint.

From an open kitchen, to a perfectly stocked bar, warm hospitality & efficient staff, they have it all.

The food at Gustoso is characterised by its simplicity & quality. Fresh ingredients and authentic flavours, is what meets u here.

We started of with, Antipasti - a little something to whet the appetite

Parmigiana Di Melanzane - baked sliced eggplant layered with tomato sauce, parmesan, mozzarella and basil, is a reminder of just how seductive authenticity can be. Perfectly paired with Pane Pizza.

Salad Riso Nero - Organic black rice with zucchini, sweet corn, cherry tomatoes, onions, lettuce and Italian borlotti beans in a lemon vinaigrette dressing - healthy, fresh, crisp & refreshing.

Among the Pastas we tried the Gnocchi Gustosi - Delicious & creamy, Homemade spinach & potato gnocchi in gorgonzola cream sauce.

Pizza - Indiana Poli Who can resist the simplicity of a perfectly-cooked Pizza with a pleasing char and beautifully covered with veggies and San Marzano sauce.

You’ll have no trouble pairing up your meal with wonderfully blended cocktails, sangria or a bottle of wine. We personally loved the Sangria & fresh fruit Margaritas.

Desserts & Gelato Still drooling over the sweet, velvety Blueberry Cheesecake. & Espresso Croquant Gelato..

Death by chocolate- You just can’t miss this dessert cocktail. A Must have👍👍👍

End this beautiful meal with a splendidly blended Berry Bunch Tea.

Outstanding place, you just can’t miss if u are an Italian lover. They have jain...
