Disappointing Experience at Classic Veg Restaurant
Rating: 2/5
I recently visited Classic Veg Restaurant, expecting a delightful dining experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a letdown.
The Nachos and Dahi Puri were impressive, but the Dal Tadka with Rice was a disaster. The dish was overwhelmingly dominated by garlic and ginger, with large pieces that made it unpleasant to eat.
What was even more disappointing was the staff's response when I complained. They nonchalantly stated that the dish is "always like this," which suggests a lack of concern for customer feedback.
For a restaurant that claims to serve quality vegetarian cuisine, this experience was unacceptable. Classic Veg Restaurant needs to revisit their kitchen standards and train their staff to handle customer complaints more empathetically.
Pros:
Nachos and Dahi Puri were tasty
Cons:
Dal Tadka with Rice was poorly prepared Overpowering garlic and ginger big pieces Unresponsive staff
Recommendation:
Improvement is necessary to regain customer trust. Until then, diners may want to approach...

Classic Fast Food, located opposite Don Bosco High School in Matunga East, is a hidden gem for anyone craving fresh and hygienic vegetarian food. With a legacy dating back to 1989, they’ve maintained quality and service consistently.
The ambiance is clean and welcoming—great for casual dining or small gatherings. They also offer a party hall for 25–50 people, making it ideal for birthdays, kitty parties, or seminars. I tried their kulhad chai, and it was rich, aromatic, and served beautifully.
Service is prompt, staff is polite, and they’re available on Swiggy, Zomato, and Justdial for online orders. Free home delivery is a bonus!
Highly recommended if you're in or around Kings Circle. A perfect spot for tasty, affordable...

If you're a light eater like my family the bill would turn out to be around 2 k for a family of four indulging in Punjabi food in non ac section ( which might sound steep but is something you pay extra for good crowd quality ) excluding desserts & any starters. Try the Paneer Pasanda, stuff tomato ( a bit sweet though ) dum aloo punjabi. The penne pasta is decent as well, but they provide you with only 2 pieces of garlic bread 😡. They also have onion rings on the menu. For south Indian food i would prefer the other joints nearby for authentic taste. ( Sambar is too...
