Glocal Worli — Restaurant in Mumbai

My friends had been to Glocal Junction at Andheri, and had come away impressed, so we decided to visit their Worli outlet for their buffet menu which is served at lunch. We started off with the complimentary beverages, the choices available being iced teas and fresh lime sodas. The soda was decent, and both the iced teas, lemon and peach were refreshing. With that done, the starters began arriving, from fried fish to chicken wings to flower and potato and none of them disappointed. The wings were the standout item for me, and we had at least three servings, if not four!! There was also some chaat on offer, we sampled their sev puri which was not bad at all, though we figured we should reserve our appetite more for the other "fancy" items. I activated my Zomato Gold (on drinks) and my first cocktail was Painkiller, a combination of tequila, vodka and rum and it was too good. Although it didn't give a kick or a high (not important for me) I really liked the taste, and was happy with my choice since I would get another one free. At this point the pizza arrived, we sampled the veg as well as nonveg variants and liked both of them. The veg pizza was on the spicier side, while the nonveg was markedly cheesier so we repeated that one. We then made our way to the food counters, and I helped myself to some hummus, pita bread and breadsticks, which turned out to be a major disappointment. The hummus was totally bland, and the breads were nothing to write about either. Luckily my next cocktail, Cactus Cooler, was a delight, and it washed away the disappointment of the hummus right away. Made up of East European vodka, schnapps, Red Bull and orange juice, this is a must have for all vodka fans. Our main course included chicken biryani, and two kinds of roasted chicken. The one that was an absolute delight was Ghee Roasted Chicken (the name of the other variant escapes me), and I ended up having multiple servings. At last, it was time for desserts, and we tried out nearly all of them. The kheer was average, could be given a miss, since at the end of a buffet space in the tummy is at a premium. The ice creams were quite nice, chocolate and strawberry in particular. The mango pastry and the muffin were also worth a shot, but the highlight for me was the chocolate mousse, it was as good as I have ever had, and again I ended up having multiple servings. Having spent over 3 hours I guess the staff could tell we had had a really great time, and I must say that we were taken care of very well. A big shoutout to Rony, our table attendant and Amol the manager, thanks to them the service was top class. It is located in worli near from ataria mall. Their ambience is very good and attractive. They have very huge and good numbers of sittings arrangements. I loved their music system. Their interior was very amazing.

They have launched their new menu, so me and my friend have decided to try out their new menu.

So here captain Imtiaz Khan was guiding us for food selections.

So what we have ordered is,

Kurkure Kukkad It was very crunchy and little bit spicy and oily, loved the taste comes with 6 pieces served with blue cheese mayo.

Wingy Chicks (recommended) It is a chicken wings, and prepared very perfectly. It was very spicy but vwry delicious in taste. I would suggest you to try out this.

Mahim ka seekh paratha (very good in taste) So it has a absolute similar taste like a mahim ka seekh paratha. Which is served with seekh kebab, malabar paratha, green chutney, onion and pudina.

Black Fish (basa fish) It is something different. we have tried first time, comes with six pieces of basa fish. The fish is coated with activated charcoal. Served with green chutney. Also it is a healthy starter.😋

Chilliya Kheema It is a mutton keema served with two pav. It is spicy and little bit oily. The proportion was very good.

Khakhra Chura Biryani Risotto ( RECOMMENDED TO TRY IN VEG) It is made up with ARB Rice, Biryani Masala, Ghee, Khakhra. It has a very delicious taste. Proportion of this dish is enough for two people. The aroma of the risotto was very good. The taste was very delicious. And it is something new they have made. Must try.

In drinks we have tried,

Pinacolada Mix-up with coconut and pineapple. Love the presentation they have made.

Oreo shake. It has a mind-blowing taste. Very relaxing shake. I have ever tried.

In desserts,

I would like to suggest you to try out their Pan cheese cake. Which will make your food end very good. And it is something different which you will definetly love, it has a taste of banarasi paan with a unique combination of cheese cake. Must try.
