I had the pleasure of dining at The Grant House in Mumbai, a charming vintage restaurant that truly captured the essence of classic flavors. From the moment I stepped in, the warm ambiance set the perfect tone for a memorable meal.

The food was absolutely delightful. The Bheja Kheema was a standout — perfectly spiced and cooked to tender perfection, offering a rich and satisfying flavor. The Dal Khichadi was comfort food at its best, with a beautiful balance of textures and a homey taste that was both hearty and soul-soothing. The Seafood Rice was another highlight, with perfectly cooked seafood that was fresh and aromatic, paired with fragrant rice that brought the dish together wonderfully. To end the meal, the Solkadi was a refreshing touch, offering a cool, tangy finish that complemented the richness of the other dishes.

The service was impeccable. The owner was not only welcoming but also took the time to chat with diners, making the experience feel personal and special. The staff was attentive, polite, and quick, adding to the overall positive experience.

All in all, The Grant House offers a blend of delicious food, rich tradition, and wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic flavors in a...

After a tiring shopping at Crawford market, we stumbled on this relatively unknown restaurant because we were tired and wanted to sit and have lunch. We ordered non-veg meals here, but what irritated me about this place was the owner hovering above our heads asking us "How does it taste?" like can you guys pls calm down. How can a customer tell if your dishes taste good in just like two bites? Like appreciate the enthusiasm to try to improve on your dishes, but what's the hurry. Anyways, coming to what we ordered. We ordered a chicken thali which had 2 rice bhakari, one chicken curry, rice and solkadhi at 150₹. It was nothing amazing, but the chicken curry did remind me of home. Then we ordered Kheema Pav which was good but not worth the hype. Last dish we ordered thinking that it would be adventurous was Kheema Fried Rice which turned out to be the most disappointing thing we tasted that day. It was dry and they were very stingy with the rice to chicken proportion. Only visit this restaurant if you have no alternatives available around. It's affordable so I guess that's what you get for the...

A Hidden Gem for a Delightful Breakfast ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Hotel Grant House, located near the iconic Huj building in Mumbai. This place is truly a hidden gem for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with evident care. Every bite reflected the perfect balance of spices and authenticity, making it a memorable culinary journey. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and ensured that every guest felt at home.

The ambiance of the hotel was charming—a blend of classic and modern, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling city outside. The cleanliness and attention to detail further elevated the experience.

Whether you're a local or a traveler exploring Mumbai, Hotel Grant House is a must-visit. I’m looking forward to returning and exploring more of their...

That's wonderful to hear your grandparents recommended such a gem! It sounds like you had a truly satisfying experience with the Keema Pav. It's always special when a dish lives up to expectations, especially when it comes with a family recommendation. Knowing that it hit the spot so perfectly that you're already planning a return visit to Mumbai just for it speaks volumes about its quality. And Sol Kadi – a fantastic suggestion for a refreshing cooler! It's the perfect counterpoint to a flavorful dish like Keema Pav, leaving you feeling both satisfied and invigorated. It's great you got to try that local favorite as well. Thanks for sharing your positive experience and the recommendations! I'm sure others will appreciate the tip to go for the Keema Pav and try the Sol Kadi when they're in Mumbai. It sounds like a must-try combination.

This Restaurant is one of the oldest Restaurant in the area. It’s located just below the JJ flyover next to a Police station. So here mostly cops n senior cops visit this place. I was introduced to this place by a my uncle who also was an senior cop. Well today I visited this restaurant the menu is more or less the same as it was then. So here you get good Mutton Kheema fry n also one could try chief special Mutton Kheema Beja fry. Awesome. They have a lot of fish on the menu, but I find it a bit steep, as they shud be not charging so much especially as they are close to the wholesale fish market. So one could try their meat preparation. Biryani both mutton n chicken is good. This time I have not clicked much snaps but next time surely more food snaps.
