Location- this restaurant is located on the 4rth floor of Sofitel hotel in bkc.(5/5) Theme- being a ramdan, we went to try their Mohammed ali food festival. This was the 5th year of them to do so. (5/5) Ambience- entrance of restaurant was really wow, loved the walk through till the main restaurant. As soon as you enter it has amazing well decorated bar. Seating is just perfect so does the lighting.(5/5) Service/staff- Service was nice to start with then it got bit slowed, might management can check this. Chef shabad was so nice to come and meet us.(4/5) Food- Its been almost 20 years that I visit Mohammed ali road in Ramdan days. The food which is served there is always extremely delicious. Chef shabad has brought the same taste, dishes and fun in Sofitel hotel. I was really surprised and happy to get the same, rather premium version of mohammed ali road food in hotel. We started with paya soup, texture wise it was really creamy and little thicker than normal paya and had good flavour of saffron in it. I ordered this soup twice to be honest, and enjoyed it. Coming to starters we tried assorted platter in which they served veg cutlet, achari mahi fish tikka, chicken cutlet, khau galli chicken tikka and Lahoti seekh kabab. Starters were served with generous amount of laccha. Cutlet had authentic vermicelli coating which was fried. Fish tikka was flavoursome, had good melting in the mouth consistency. Lahori seek kabab was my favourite in all of them. Main course options were even more delicious and super heavy. Mutton kheema was highlight here which was served with buttered pav, a perfect Mumbai dish I can say. Khichda is one of the dish which I never ever miss as if its made in the proper way then it can be the best dish any time. Here it was made in authentic way with good amount of ghee which was required. Daal e khas was again extremely temping and loved the way it was garnished and tasted too. I was surprised to see less dessert option, we tried malpua with rabdi which is a must try and had saffron phirni. Food wise they served all the most famous and popular dishes of mohammed ali road. I am sure the restaurant will be full for this particular food festival as many cant go to mohmmed ali road or donโ€™t enjoy going as its really crowded and this festival is certainly a premium version of it which you can enjoy. Do visit this mohammed ali food festival I am sure you would love it, go for it.

What's Ramzan without a food walk at famous Mohammad Ali Road. Not everyone will get a time to legit hog on a food here as the holy month of Ramzan has kicked off. The month is awaited by all for delicious delicacies. If you have concerned about hygiene and safety of popular dishes at Mohd Ali Road, Sofitel brings to you Mohammad Ali Road Food Festival at their renowned and famous restaurant Jyran. This is fifth consecutive year for this festival here by Chef Shadab Ahmed. The festival is here till 6th June 2019. The place is really beautifully done and the interiors here are so classy and mesmerizing. The moment I entered this restaurant I realized they had successfully recreated the Ramzan charm. I've opted for Signature menu as there are many options to choose from. In Signature menu you can start from Paya Yakhani Shorba and then you can go for different non-veg appetizers like Khau Gali Murg Tikka (Chicken), Shahi Galawat ke Kebab (Lamb), Tandoori Zhinga (Prawns), Machhi Tawa Fry (Basa Fish). All dishes are recommended by me. In Mains you have both options in Veg and Non Veg like Paneer Tikka Masala, Bhuna Kathal Masala, Chooza Makhani, Barah Handi Ka Gosht (it's a bliss), Raan Changrezi and Dal-E-Khaas (heavenly). It's a delightful treat to your taste buds. Malpua Rabdi and Zafrani Phirni leaves a lingering sweet taste. Make sure you don't miss this. Overall, for the price and the ambience this was too good for a deal. I will remember having done something different this Ramzan, apart from usual visits to the Iftar places. Food: 5/5 Service : 4/5 Decor: 5/5 P.S : The review is strictly depends on my personal experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jyran - Tandoor Dining & Lounge, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience that left a lasting impression. This review is based on my personal experience, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021.

From the moment I stepped into Jyran, I was captivated by the elegant and inviting ambiance. The restaurant's tasteful decor and soothing lighting created a sophisticated and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for a memorable dining experience. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the furniture to the table settings, added a touch of luxury to the overall ambiance.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the exquisite tandoor cuisine. Jyran showcased the mastery of traditional Indian flavors and techniques. The menu featured an array of tantalizing dishes cooked in the authentic tandoor oven, delivering a unique smoky and charred essence to each bite. From the succulent kebabs to the perfectly marinated meats and flavorful vegetarian options, every dish showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs.

The quality of the ingredients was evident, with fresh spices and premium cuts of meat enhancing the authenticity and taste of the dishes. The flavors were well-balanced, and each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The presentation of the food was also exceptional, with artistic plating that added to the overall visual appeal.

The service at Jyran was impeccable, with the staff displaying a genuine warmth and attentiveness. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered insightful suggestions based on personal preferences. The waitstaff ensured that every aspect of the dining experience was seamless, from prompt service to regular checks to ensure satisfaction. Their professionalism and hospitality enhanced the overall experience.

In addition to the outstanding food and service, Jyran also offered an extensive beverage selection, including creative cocktails and a well-curated wine list. The drinks complemented the flavors of the cuisine perfectly, further enhancing the overall dining experience.

Overall, Jyran - Tandoor Dining & Lounge exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The combination of exquisite tandoor cuisine, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service made it a memorable culinary journey. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or seeking a refined dining experience, Jyran is a must-visit destination for those who appreciate the art of Indian cuisine. I wholeheartedly recommend Jyran to anyone looking for an exceptional dining...

Food- Its been almost 20 years that I visit Mohammed ali road in Ramdan days.

Do visit this mohammed ali food festival I am sure you would love...
