Ah, World Center, the Harvard of convention centers! This place is so swanky, I half-expected a red carpet at the entrance. I was there for the Global Fintech Fest, and let me tell you, the event unfolded like clockwork. Registration? A breeze. Think of it as the DMV, but if the DMV had actually figured out how to be efficient.

The food counters? Stellar. The food itself was so good it could run for public office. Good food and efficiency at a convention center—now that’s like finding a four-leaf clover in a field of grass.

Now, let’s chat about the elephant in the room: the phone network. Or the lack thereof. The irony is thicker than the gravy at the food counter. This place is owned by Jio, the telecom emperor of India, and yet, making a phone call here is like trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube blindfolded. Hello, Jio, can you hear me now?

But let’s not lose sight of the big picture. This is hands-down the best convention center in the country. The atmosphere is so conducive to work that even procrastination takes a back seat. A day spent here feels like a networking fiesta in a five-star setting.

Overall, it’s a crown jewel with just one missing gem—the phone network. Still, a solid 9.5 out of 10, because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to network in a place where every thing is perfect ! Ah, yes, the Bandra Kurla traffic. Let's call it the 'opening act' before reaching the main event at World Center. This traffic is so legendary, it deserves its own VIP section. You'll navigate through it like a maze, second-guessing every turn like you're in a bad relationship with your GPS. It’s the only part of the day where time literally slows down, just so you can ponder life's great mysteries—like why you didn’t bring a packed lunch for the journey.

But once you've conquered the Bandra Kurla labyrinth, arriving at World Center feels like a well-earned triumph. It's akin to reaching the mountaintop after a strenuous climb, except this mountain has exceptional catering and top-tier networking opportunities.

So despite the commute that tests your inner Zen, the experience inside makes it worth the trek. Still sticking to that 9.5 out of 10 rating, because honestly, if you can make it through Bandra Kurla traffic, you can make it through...
