Om Sai Sagar Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

This eatery is located in aarey colony, Goregaon (East). I wouldn’t call it a place where you can take your family, it is more like a chai tapri where you can chill with friends.

The eatery is surrounded by trees and is about a kilometre away from the Goregaon East check-post. So full marks for the location and the ambiance.

They don’t have dine in facility at the moment due to the on going Covid-19 pandemic but they have kept some tables outside where in you can stand and eat your food.

I have eaten at this place quiet a few times and this is what I think of it. All in all it’s a decent eatery. I personally love their misal fry with pav, Indian Chinese and vada pav. They also serve assorted pakodas, matka rabri, masala milk, chaas, lassi and ice creams.

Recently they even started a pan and cigarette stall.

They do not have a washroom.

They accept cash payments and all major UPI wallets.

If they work on their cleanliness, sanitation and dine in facility, this place can become a nice family restaurant with an awesome...

We had the crispiest Onion bhajiyas and my friend unfortunately ordered corn bhajiyas along with it. Corn is not meant to be fried like that...it was too hot once you bit into the entire morsel. The fact that it was raining made it all do'able. Entering the place was tricky since the traffic is almost constantly moving in both the lanes but you're welcomed by old school finger chips, a quiet and serious uncle behind the counter and a few very warm set of helping hands. Picked up their local honey & ghee which looked absolutely pure knowing that I'm taking this from Aarey colony. I will try other things next time and perhaps more of the Ghee because it looks THAT authentic and straight...
